If anybody tells you heaven is just pristine clouds, cotton and harps playing every 0.35 seconds - smack them in the face.

It was buzzing with people of all kinds, and they all understood each other, no matter their nationality. Babies didn't last very long, they would straight again be reincarnated - 3 days tops. The elderly wait a bit longer to be reincarnated however. Anything up to months.

People dressed normally, and it generally looked just like downtown LA. It was like a dream which you could control; if I knew death was like this, I would have definitely done what I did earlier.

Today I face the consequences of such, as The Committee wants to see me. I'm not sure about what they did, but Riker gave me a basic outline of the day; they were going to ask why a healthy, happy 20 year old committed suicide.

The walls were a very dark black with gold details, and silence ruled over the waiting room.

"Piper Scott." A voice boomed and I shot up.

"Be truthful, they can sense lies from a mile away." Riker whispered before we came in.

The board was made up of mainly older people; probably around my parents' age. I smiled in attempt to break the ice. "Hello."

"Sit down." The one in the middle said. I followed his orders, sitting on an empty chair. "Do you know why you're here?"

"I died." Was all I said. "Before time."

"Indeed you did," the other man beside him replied. "Care to open up to us?"

"It's too much of a private matter." I looked at my fiddling hands. Their eyes diverted to Riker, who shrugged.

"I can only help her so much; I can't get into her head if she blocks me out."

"Are you comfortable sharing such matter with your guardian angel?"

"Not yet."

"For goodness sake, Miss Scott. It can't be something this bad that you can't tell us."

"Well it is, okay? You have nothing to do with why I killed myself. It's up to me if I share it." I stood up. "Now if you excuse me, I have to go."

"Where are you going?" Riker asked urgently.

"I don't know, but I just have to-" the moment I stepped through the door I hit the ground and rolled down a hill. Once at the bottom, I noticed a group of people in black, standing in a tight circle. However they parted, ever so slightly for the glimpse of white amongst the darknesss.

The white was the colour of a coffin, and this is my funeral. I know this because I left it on my suicide note; I want to have a white coffin and wear black when I'm buried.

However, it shocked me and pulled me further in.

"They're destroyed." Riker appeared. "Wanna go closer?"

"Yes." I stood up, and we walked. I walked straight through people, causing them to shiver as I did so. My parents were crying, clinging onto each other. Even my brother had tears in his own eyes.

I watched them carefully, and then began to shout. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry I did this to you! I'm sorry!"

"They can't hear you." Riker said calmly, guiding me away as I began to cry myself. "They'll be fine soon, don't worry yourself further, okay? It will be alright."

But it wouldn't.
