Third Person POV:

Florida is beautiful.

Not only does the warm air relax the group, the mansion they're staying in does as well. It's a large house by the water with tall trees (and palm trees of course) surrounding the back of the palace-like structure, and a lovely fountain sits out front. Their are multiple rooms, the group is thankful for, and none of this would have been done without Tony. Fortunately, even with the current events, Stark industries is still running.

It is now early July and to get their minds off the oncoming war which is soon to come, they have began planning for a big Fourth of July celebration. "I don't think that's a good idea, guys." said Steve however, interrupting the slightly cheerful conversation they were all having. "We're already trying to stay off the radar," the captain continued, setting a grim tone. "Having a party won't help our cause."

"Really? Mr. Freedom over here doesn't want to celebrate Fourth of July?" Tony said with a mouthful of steak. But no one said nothing else on the matter for the rest of the night. The group spent most of their time at the beach, thanks to Lee's and Tony's begging, but they didn't have to try too hard considering deep down, they all wanted to have fun.

Except for one.

Meira begins to train. At night, when she cannot sleep, she gets up and does simple exercises to keep busy. During the day, from the moment she wakes up she is running along the beach with either Lee or Clint, who has opened up to Meira more. After that she meditates, which surprisingly, works out quite well with her. Meira finds solitude and peace in this and no one questions her to why she sits out on the roof to do this. And after this, she begins her Thoranian training.

Now, Thoranians as you known are peaceful people, but they are extremely dangerous to be caught in a fight with one, even a child. Thoranians train long and hard, nonstop, hours at a time. This is why the group begins to worry when at twelve they pass a window and she is there on the beach jabbing and slicing the air with a sword and pass another window at five and see her doing the same thing.

"Worry not, my friends." Thor says to them when the subject came up. "This is Thoranian way." And so they begun to watch her. Soon they went out on the beach and sat down far enough away so they wouldn't get killed. But they figured out that the possibility of that is nearly impossible. The quick tempered girl they've come to know Meira as completely changes when there is a sword in her hands.

Meira barely registers that some of them come out to watch her in the waning hours of the day as she glides across the sand. She spins and jumps and flips and tosses her sword in the air countless times, and when a stray piece of drift wood is close, it is cut in half so precisely and quickly, you would need to have seen it to believe it.

Her magic training is a different story.

This, no one but Thor oversees. Meira is still upset with Thor, and this makes things troubling for the both of them, so Meira only uses her magic every other night. Each night, on the beach, Meira stands stock still in the sand and Thor watches from a few yards away. They start out small first, moving the sand with a little bit of force. Meira does so easily, which surprises her a little.

"I believe it must be adolescence that is leveling out your magic so quickly." Thor said one night after Meira failed to create a flame in her hands and whip the water out of the ocean. "The simple tricks you have mastered so well are going to be difficult to learn again, if that is what you wish when you are older." Meira understood this very well, for this had been something she was dreading for a long time. This is why Thoranians look down on you when you don't use your own magic. One day, you will have to use it whether you want to or not, and when that day comes, no one will trust you to protect them.
