Third Person POV:

The sword flew out of Lee's hand and landed ten feet behind him. The scarred-face agent whirled around to see the heavy sword swinging from side to side where it was jabbed into the grass. Meira smiled and pointed her sword at Lee's throat. "Dead." she said. Lee rolled his eyes and pushed away the tip of her sword. "Yeah, well I'm not a warrior from another planet."

"That's why you should train." Meira replied, sheathing her sword. It was early morning, the day after the storm and the sky was as clear and as blue as ever. The grass and the leaves on the trees looked greener than before. Except for the large tree that had fallen over next to the barn during last night's storm - that currently Tony, Steve, and Thor were trying to figure out how to move - it seemed like their wasn't a storm at all.

Meira had gotten up dawn, waking the second the storm ended. She had been sleeping in a far off corner of the barn, far away from Aaron so she couldn't kill him in his sleep, and hadn't spoken to anyone for the whole night. Not even when they say at the table for dinner. ( Which consisted of take out pizza.) When she woke, Meira quietly found her mail armor and leather clothing she had worn when she was banished.

Meira then sheathed the dagger Thor had given the girl on her thigh, where she could grab it if needed. Meira proceeded to wake Lee up, holding two swords in her hands, her hair plaited over her shoulder, and a large grin on her face. "Absolutely not." Lee mumbled into his pillow after taking one look at her. But of course, he got dressed in a tight black shirt, dark pants, and steel toed boots. The two made their way out of the barn without waking the others up and walked far down into the large fields spread out before the barn. Meira taught Lee how to use a sword and soon, the two were fighting nonstop.

Lee was worn out around eleven and his arms ached painfully. "And what am I training for again?" He continued. "I already know how to use a gun and fight, what's a sword going to do for me?" Meira slashed the air where he stood, but Lee rolled out of the way, jabbing towards her. Meira deflected the blow just in time, sweat pouring down her face but the sly grin on her lips only grew. "Because," she said, pushing Lee's sword off her, making him stumble back a little. "The you can't use the same tactics over and over again. You have to come up with something new."

And at that moment, she faked a swing and instead knocked the hilt of Lee's sword with the tip of her own, making it clatter to the ground. Meira then swept her leg under his feet and pressed her boot into his chest once he fell. Lee scowled at the sword in front of his face and huffed. "Fine. You win. But can I please go eat breakfast now?" Meira laughed and nodded. "Go ahead," she said, helping him up. "I'll be there soon too." Lee smiled at her, his scar shinning in the sun briefly, and turned towards the barn.

Meira watched him tiredly trudge over there and say a few things to Steve and the others before walking inside, rubbing his neck all the while. Her eyes drifted over to Thor then to see him laughing at Lee. His hair was tied back and for a moment, he almost looked mortal. The worry always evident on his face was gone and he didn't look like the prince Meira was raised to honor. He looked happy and.... Human.

His eyes turned to hers at that second, and she quickly looked away. Meira then proceeded to work on her technique, ignoring the footsteps getting louder behind her.

"You are working hard." Thor said. "That is good. I thought you might need more practice; this moving around can be straining." Meira didn't reply or look at him. Her embarrassment would not allow her to speak. She kept replaying the scene at the mall in her mind, her heart hurting more and more. Meira hadn't meant to shout out like that. Her anger had once more taken control and made her do something she regretted.
