Tony:

Tony tried to keep his sadness from you, to spare you from his pain. He knew that you would do anything to take the pain away from him, but he knew that you couldn't, and that would kill you. He didn't want to hurt you. The first time he cried in front of you was a day that you never want to repeat.      "Tony, are you okay?" You ask from the other side of the door, you had heard quite sobs and you knew it was Tony.

"I'm fine, what's up." He tried to sound okay, but you knew he wasn't. You entered the room and found him facing away from you.

"I know that you're not fine." You tell him. You sit on the bed next to him, and start rubbing his back. He tried so hard to keep his emotions in but he can't seem to anymore. He just broke down, right there in front of you. You hated seeing the man that you loved fall apart. You just held him until he was calm.

"Tony, you are going to be fine, whatever this is, we will get through it together. I promise, you are not alone. I will always be here for you." You tell him. You just keep repeating this over, and over, until he falls asleep.

Steve:

Steve was known as the strong soldier, he always tried to be strong for those around him. He tried to never show emotion, he tried to save everyone he could and when he couldn't it killed him. The first time you saw him cry was after he lost several men on a mission. He didn't even try to hide it from you, not that it would have made any difference. He was just sitting on the couch and right when you sat down next to him, he broke down and the tears started to fall from his eyes. He pulled you into a tight hug and clutched on for dear life. You just held him and waited until he calmed down.

"You can't save everyone, my love." You tell him, once he's calmed down a little.

"But it's my job, they trusted me to get them home alive, and now their families have to hear the news that their son or husband have died. And it's all my fault." Steve says, detaching himself from you.

"It is not your fault, you tried your hardest but sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to." You told him.

"It's for the times like these when I reflect and truly realize how lucky I am to have you." He says, you both spend the rest of the night cuddling, and repressing his painful memory.

Clint:

Clint tries to hide his pain with his humor but sometimes it just doesn't work. He is always the person that cracks the jokes and makes other people laugh when he needs help the most. He would never admit to needing help but you can always tell when he needs it most. The first time you saw him cry, you knew it was bound to happen.

"Clint, it's okay to let it out sometimes. You don't always have to be the strong one." You say as you pull him into a hug. Soon enough you can feel tears on your shoulder and you just hold him while he cries.

"You are the strongest person I know, and you don't always have to cover up what your feeling for the sake of others." You tell him.

"I love you Clint, don't ever forget that."
