Michelle

I know I didn't include looks in my potential boyfriend requirements, because looks don't really matter to me.

But like most people, with hormones, I have a type too.

"You mean girls?" Nate had said rhetorically.

I grinned at him, and corrected, "My guy type." He alternates between teasing me about him and my attraction for girls. As if both of those reasons explain why I rejected him all those years ago.

Nate raised an eyebrow.

"My girl type is Kate Beckinsale in Underworld," I concurred. "My guy type wears glasses, is a little pale, thin and adorable nerdy. Kind of like Edward Snowden."

"The whistle blower?" he asked raising his eyebrows really high now.

"And he is fighting for something that he believes in. That is better than most guys and girls that I know."

"Are you saying that we don't?"

"I make games for a living. That's not exactly changing the world. While you data mine for gambling purposes," I replied.

"Let me guess, you watched that documentary about him because you think he's cute."

"No. I watched it because it won an Oscar," I defended. "But why else do people watch movies anyway if not to ogle at cute guys and pretty girls?"

He just rolled his eyes at me.

FYI Nate is not my type, physically. Not that it matters since he's with Tia now.
