It's been two years and I'm officially a young adult.

Brandish decided to stay here in New York with the Alvarez Company since that's her home.

I agreed and she let me go alone back to Magnolia. I took my plane and landed safely to the airport.

I sighed as I look around. Magnolia sure has changed.

New buildings, new cars, new technology, new stuff.

But what hasn't changed is the people. They still act the same and I'm proud of that.

Anyways, as I slowly make my way towards the airport, I see a petite blue haired girl walking out of the bathroom.

Is that...?

"Levy!" I shouted, waving my hand for her to look at me.

"L-Lu-Chan!? Oh my God!"

She runs up to me and gives me a tight hug.

"You're back! You're finally back! It's been forever!"

"Yeah, it has. Just look at you, you look so amazing!"

"Thanks! I see that you have been cancer free! Your long hair finally grew back."

I nodded, smiling.

"I appreciate life more than I did before."

"Good. Where's Layla? Did she come with you?"

I blinked, putting on a sad face as I look down.

"Actually...Mom passed away."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Lu-Chan. It must've been hard for you."

"It has but I eventually got over her death by the help of someone. She still remains in my heart, though. So, what brings you here?"

"Oh, uh...no reason."

"Levy..." I narrowed my eyes at her in suspicion and she finally gave in.

"Alright, fine. I would always come here every time just to look for you over the past year. I wanted to know if you came back home." She said, sadly smiling.

"Awe, that's sweet of you. You actually cared."

"Of course I would care. You're my best friend."

"Yeah, now c'mon. I'm starving."

"I'll treat you in my house! Gajeel must've already came back home."

I nodded and the two of us walk down the busy airport.

It feels so good to be back.

After we arrived at Levy's house, all of our friends were here.

"Le—Lucy!? You came!! You're finally back!"

They all launch towards my way...except for Gajeel since he's too 'badass' to hug a girl like me.
