Lylie was happily writing her story in her journal in the Great Hall, while munching on a piece of toast.

"Hi," Fred sat down across from her.

Lylie didn't reply. She merely glanced at him, shortly, then went back to scribbling in her journal.

"Hi!" Fred spoke louder, as if Lylie hadn't heard the first time.

She looked up again at Fred, then went back to her writing.

"HI!" Fred shouted at Lylie.

"WHAT!" Lylie slammed her piece of toast on her plate.

Fred looked downward, "I just wanted to say hi."

"Ready for this exam?" Lylie asked George as they walked together to the first winter examination in the Great Hall.

"Yes .." George trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You didn't study after the ONE TIME we studied together?" Lylie whined.

"I ... did ..... not."

"George! You're going to fail this Charms exam."

"I know." George admitted sheepishly.

*

"How was the test?" Cordelia ran into Lylie and George in the corridor afterward.

Lylie said, "Fantastic!" However, at the same time, George said, "Awful."

"Well," Cordelia half-smiled, "that settled that."

"Hey, how was it?" Addison came up to Lylie, George and Cordelia, all standing outside the Great Hall.

George made a 'pfffttt' sound and marched away.

"Did I say something?" Addison chuckled, as the girls watched George stalk away.

"No. He's only mad at himself. He didn't study." Lylie informed.

"But, didn't you help him and Fred study?" Cordelia questioned.

"Yes, but only once, and only for an hour or so. He never opened his textbook again after that." Lylie chortled.

"George probably didn't do very well, then." Cordelia tapped her foot.

"Not likely." Fred said as he came up behind the girls.

"How did you know what we were talking about?" Addison implied.

Lylie answered before Fred could, "He eavesdrops."

Fred pouted and folded his arms.

After a pause, he sighed, "She's right."
