HANNAH'S POV

Julian and I were walking downtown while our hands were intertwined with each other. "Are you hungry?" I asked him.

"A little bit." He replied while rubbing his tummy.

"What do you wanna eat?" I asked.

"Anything that will fill my tummy." He said. I looked around until the smell of grilled pork barbecue invaded my nostrils. I pulled Julian with me towards where the grilling stand was and ordered two barbecues for both of us and paid for them.

"Are you sure that this is clean?" he asked as he looked at the barbecue warily.

"Of course it is." I said and then continued eating and then I looked back at him again and he's still staring at his food. "Julian, the food won't go into your stomach if you're just gonna stare at it. Here." And then I pulled out the pork off the stick, "Say ah." He opened his mouth and I feed him off the pork. I looked at him as he carefully chewed it.

I raised my right eyebrow at him, "So what now? What can you say Mr. De Vizio?" I asked playfully.

"It's not that bad." He said then he took another bite. I laughed as I watched him devour his barbecue. "I've never eaten a street food before." He admitted.

"I've noticed." I said and then an idea popped into my head. "Oh! I've got an idea! Why don't you try isaw (chicken's intestine)?"

"The what?"

"Isaw. Chicken's intestine."

"Uh... No thank you."

"I reckon you should try it!"

"No Hannah."

"Julian, I swear, it isn't that bad as it sounds."

And then I ordered again but this time, the food that I was suggesting Julian. I paid for it and then gave it to him. "Try it." I said and then he took a bite and chewed it carefully until he was nodding.

"You're right. It's not that bad as it sounds." He said and we both smiled at each other. After we ate, we continued to walk until we stopped by at a souvenir shop and bought some things after that we already went home and noticed that Miela and Kobe are getting closer with each other.

"Look at Miela and Kobe." I said to Julian while watching them from a distance. "Don't you think that they look good together?"

"They DO look good together." He said as he put his hand on my waist. "Like us." Then he kissed my right cheek while giggling. He looked back at them, "It's been a while since I saw that same sparkle in Miela's eyes." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"She fell in love with this guy in her school. They dated but one day, she just found out that the guy cheated on her." He replied. "She has never been the same ever since. I've never seen the same smile on her lips and sparkle in her eyes again."

"Is that why you allowed Kobe to court her?" I asked. He also mentioned to me a while ago when we're in the souvenir shop about Kobe asking permission to court Miela.

"Yeah." He replied. "I know Miela would be sad if I intervene between them."

"Right. I wish she would also realize that you're upset because she's trying to get in the way of our relationship." I scoffed and then he smiled thoughtfully as he put his arms around me and pulled me closer to his body.

"I'm sure she will realize that too one day." He said. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.

That afternoon, Miela went to talk to me. Oh crap, brace yourself for another batch of bitching Hannah.

"Hey." Miela said.

"Oh, hey Miela. Want me to get you something? Cake? Juice?" I offered.

"No... Um... The truth is, I want to talk to you Hannah." She said. I stood there in shock. Her? Wanting to talk to me? Oh wow.

"You know... Privately. Do you have time?" she asked. I was lost for words that I wasn't able to answer yes or no. "It's alright if you don't want to. I mean, I've been a bitch and all that, why would you want to talk to me?"

I chuckled, "N-No! Of course I do have the time to talk to you." I said. "Go ahead. What is it?"

"Uh... Well, I would just like to thank you because you didn't stop Kobe from courting me." She said while fiddling with her fingers.

"That's not a big deal. Kobe has his own life. He has the right to fall in love. I know that he'll be happy with you." I replied and then out of nowhere, she hugged me.

"Thank you. Julian was right about you. You're a good person." She said and then she pulled away and held both of my hands. "Also, I'm so sorry for being a bitch to you... I really regret it. It's just that I want to make sure that my brother would find the perfect one for him and I guess he really found his match and that's you. I'm really sorry."

"Miela, I've already forgiven you a long time ago so let's just forget all about it, okay? What's important is that we're both happy."

"And we're gonna be sisters once you and Julian get married!"

"Miela, that's still a long way from now."

"Sorry. Got a little bit excited there. Can I have a hug?"

I giggled and nodded as we hugged each other. Sigh, I think this is the highlight of my year, Miela and I getting along with each other.

Finally, the war between us is over!!!

That night, after we all had a festive dinner, Julian noticed that I'm happy because I have this wide smile on my face.

"Someone's happy." Julian said softly from behind, his arms wrapped around me, while brushing his lips against my ear which tickled me a little bit. I just smiled more. "And I think I know why."

"Why?" I asked quizzically.

"It's because you and Miela are already getting along with each other." He said casually.

I chuckled, "Yeah. I mean, it's so sudden. I didn't expect it to happen right away." I said.

"I think Kobe is a good influence on her."

"You think so?"

"Yeah."

And then a comfortable silence filled us up as we stared at the beautiful starry night sky by the window. Just then, he got my left hand and put on the infinity ring that I saw at the souvenir shop a while ago.

"Oh my God..." Was all I managed to say. He looked into my eyes, "I told myself that I'd give this to you on your birthday but I learned that your birthday would be also the day that I'll try out for XFactor." He said.

"Y-You'll try out for the Xfactor?"

"Yes."

Half of me was happy for him because he's ready to go out there and fulfill his dream but a part of me also wants him to stay behind. I know it's selfish of me to say that but can you blame me if I'm always used to him being here to hold me through everyday?

"What's wrong?" he asked when he noticed that I fell silent.

"N-Nothing... I just didn't think that your audition would be... Soon." I said carefully.

"Are you worried that I might forget you once I got into the live shows?"

I didn't answer and just nodded. He sighed and then he tightened his hug around me. "Hannah, you don't have to worry because you would always be in my mind and heart. FOREVER AND ALWAYS." He said. "I love you."
