Story 6- Convention (Part 2)

Evan and Zoe held Connor aback from killing Jared with his own two hands. Jared, on the other hand, couldn't stop laughing. Alana moved Jared somewhere else so Connor couldn't strangle him if he had the chance.

"Oh, you should have SEEN Connor's face!" Jared laughed.

Connor walked into the convention, flushed. Alana slapped Jared back to reality. Evan ran to get Connor because no one ever noticed little Evan.

"Connor, wait!"

Connor turned around and saw a panting Evan come after him. As he stood before him, he grabbed his hand.

"I-I'm apologize about what Jared acted about you..." Evan said.

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault." Connor stared at Evan. He was always cute when he was nervous. Basically all the time, but nonetheless, cute.

"I just hope we can all stay together without having forbidding glances." Evan fiddled with his thumbs, looking at the floor.

"You know Hansen, for a shy person, you have a big use of words." Connor stated.

Evan creaked a smile. "Yeah, I keep everything to myself."

The rest of the group approached them. Jared managed to stop laughing, and Zoe and Alana wanted to forget what happened.

They all walked into the convention together, and sepered. Evan And Zoe went to see the new  Land of Stories book going on sale. Alana forced Connor to talk to other Gravity Falls players (Connor just stayed on mute). Jared found Be More Chill players and talked with them near the food area.

Evan and Zoe stayed in a line and were jumping in their spots.

"I can't believe it! We're gonna meet the real Chris Colfer!" Zoe sqealed.

Evan nodded exciedly. "I hope he likes our costume!"

Zoe and Evan excitedly held their hands. They waited for about 30 minutes until they were face-to-face with Chris Colfer.

"Hey guys." The author said.

Zoe and Evan waved happily, Evan starting to hyperventilate.

"Hi! We're such big fans!" Zoe explained.

Evan held his breath, he couldn't believe he was staring at the author.

Chris signed the book and handed one to Zoe, and one to Evan. "Enjoy, nice to meet you"

Zoe dragged Evan away. They sat on a bench and saw the author wrote his signature. Evan leaned his head against Zoe, extremely hyperventilating.

Alana conversated with a Candy and Grenda cosplayer. They talked about their favorite episodes. Connor just listened to them talk and crossed his arms. He hated how his vest didn't over his whole chest. It felt uncomfortable.

"And when Mabel was trapped in the bubble!" Alana said.

"Oh, the torture!" Candy said dramatically.

Grenda pointed to Connor. "What's up with him?"

Connor stared at her with a sour face and stepped behind Alana. She pulled him away from behind her. "Oh, just Dipper being Dipper."

Connor stared at all of them, staying mute.

"Oh, cheer up Dipper! We can do something together!" Candy said.

Connor just walked away. He wasn't up for this shit.

Jared was serving himself some popcorn chicken when Connor approached him.

"What's up Con Con?" Jared asked.

Connor served himself some coke and ignored Jared.

"Connor, look, I'm sorry." Jared announced.

"I'm sorry."

Connor walked next to him and examined his face. He nodded and drank his coke.

"How's Alana?" Jared asked.

"She's making me talk. I became mute for about 30 minutes as she talked. You know, regular Connor days. And you?"

"I found Be More Chill cosplayers, but they ran off when squipps chased them. I just made my way here instead."

Connor nodded.

"In a few hours, we'll be leaving." Connor said hopefully.
