Evan's car slammed into a halt as he parked his car in the parking lot, his hands gripping the wheel. He was told his boyfriend would be here, and indeed he saw his car in the spot across from him.

Evan knee something was up with him. He didn't get a text from him, a call, nothing. And that was unusual, since Jared was never quiet. He asked his friends and no one knew where he was, and it was starting to turn night, until his best friend Connor told him where he was.

At the local bar.

Jared never drank unless something was bothersome. And of course, this meant he never told Ev. He just tried to handle his own problems.

Evan got our of the car and took a deep breath and he walked towards the bar. He opened the doors and instantly recognized his boyfriend.

Jared was sitting on one of the stools, drunkenly screaming his lungs out with other fellow drunkees to some pop song playing on the speakers. Jared seemed happy- was laughing, giggling, and smiling, but Evan knew this was an effect of alcohol.

Evan walked towards Jared and put the glass in his hand down.

"Aw, come on Ev!" Jared slurred, trying to regain the glass, "you're ruining the fun!"

Evan grunted and gave the glad to the bartender behind the counter, trying to get ahold of Jared. "I'm not. Let's go home, babe."

Jared giggled. "But what if I wanna stay here?"

"I'm not letting you."

Jared grinned. "Being feisty I see. Can I get some of that action in bed?"

Evan couldn't help but chuckle. Classic Jared.

"No. Let's just go home."

Jared sighed dramatically. "Okkaaayyyy."

Evan wrapped his arm around his boyfriend's waist as he stumbled out of the bar and into the car.

Jared giggled the whole way, putting all his weight on Evan. "You know you're really pretty, right?"

Evan rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, you tell me all the time."

Jared turned to Evan and licked his lips. "Well, I tell you for a reason."

"And for what reason is that, hon?"

Jared opened his mouth and then laughed out loud, waving his hand dismissively in the air.

"Nevermind."

Evan sighed and shoved Jared in the car's passenger seat. He then sat himself in the drivers seat and started the car.

"Are we there yet?" Jared asked.

"We haven't even left the parking lot."

Jared looked out the window and giggled. "Oh, right."

Evan then got out of the parking lot and drove.

"Please don't puke in my car babe."

"Can't make any promises!"

The rest of the car ride was silent.

Well, actually, that was partially true.

In the first 5 minutes Jared kept asking "are we there yet" and then when he realized they weren't, laughed.

Now he was knocked out, face smooshed against the window, snoring.

Evan couldn't help but admire his boyfriend for a bit as they were now parked in front of their apartment. He was so handsome, even when he wasn't trying.

Soon enough, Evan got our and opened the door to Jared's side, Jared giving a snore as a response. He unbuckled the unconscious male and slipped his arms under his knees and back, lifting him and using his foot to close the car door.

Taking 3 steps, Evan was already struggling, since he never works out.

He made it to the lobby and to he elevator, struggling to keep Jared and himself upright. The floors went up, and luckily no one else stepped into the elevator.

As soon as it stopped, Evan stumbled to grab for his keys and open the door. Jared was still passed out in his arms, not even flinching at what was happening in the world around him. Evan carried him to his bed and flopped on it to take a breather.

Holy damn he had never imaged carrying his boyfriend would be such a struggle.

As soon as Evan stood up to change, he heard a small voice.

"Come back, Evy."

Evan could have sworn he was just asleep. Nonetheless, he turned around.

"Whats up, babe?"

Jared grew to have tears in his eyes.

"Today wasn't a good day."

Evan sighed and sat beside him on the bed, Jared's drunken state making him act like a baby as he rested his head on Evan's lap. Evan ran his fingers through his boyfriend's hair as he spoke.

"I know. You wanna talk about it?"

Jared sniffed. "Well, for starters, the car broke down midway because of a flat tire. Then it was raining so I needed to buy an umbrella nearby and call someone to help handle the car. Then, I was late to work and my boss almost fired me for it."

Evan nodded. "Just rest baby, just rest."
