Evan and Jared had been dating for 9 months.

Not even a year yet. But, they're dating was what they loved for.

So one day, the boys decided to go star-gazing that night. They both loved being out at the dark, the only thing shining the bright balls of gas in the sky, and the moon. Just a quiet night, on a blanket and cuddled up together.

Jared was laying on his back, an arm around Evan as Evan had his head on Jared's chest. It was a warm night, both boys had only a t-shirt and jeans on. They had jackets in the backseat of Jared's car for emergencies, sure, but other than that it was all they had for clothing.

Both boys weren't talking. Some nights all the boys do is watch and soak into the moment. Talking isn't everything- it's just company sometimes.

Jared was gazing up at the sky, smiling softly to himself. He could 't replace anything else to beat this moment. Just him and his boyfriend.
He looked down at Evan and saw the boy asleep- him softly breathing, eyes closed gently and lips slightly parted as he was drooling on Jared's shirt.

Jared snickered a bit to himself at the sight. Evan drools, he thought, I had no idea.

Jared was debating on if he should wake him up or not, and so he decided not to. He wanted to let the boy rest. Even if the puddle on his shirt was sticking to him uncomfortably, it was still adorable.

Sooner or later, Jared still gazing about, Evan woke up and groggily looked around.

"What time is it?" The boy slurred, drool going down his chin.

"It's 12 in the morning. Come on star, let's take you to bed." Jared smiled.

Evan was still very half asleep, maybe even more, so Jared led him to the car and took him to his house. Once they got there, Jared didn't have the heart to wake up Heidi (or Evan as Jared carried him in his arms as he fell back asleep) so he walked to Evan's room and fell asleep with Evan on him once again.

When Jared woke up the next morning, he was certainly confused when he felt no weight on his chest or shoulder.

In fact, there was on weight on the bed even.

Jared sat up tiredly and looked at the time- 9 in the morning. He stood up and didn't even try to comb his probably messed hair, but he did notice that the puddle of drool on his shirt had grown. He waved it off and left Evan's room.

He walked into the kitchen and saw Evan a sandwich, already showered and dressed. He was looking through his phone.

"Morning star." Jared kissed Evan's forehead and sat beside him on the counter.

"Morning." Evan said blunty, turning a bit flushed as he noticed Jared's sudden appearance.

"What's wrong?" Jared asked, why was Evan so nervous? As far as he knew, school was out for summer.

"Why didn't you tell me I drool?"

Jared looked at Evan's embarrassed face. "It's not such a big deal star, I'm fine with it."

Evan put down his sandwich and hid his face with his hands. "Yes it is! It's disgusting!" He muttered, and even through his hands you could see the mad blush.

Jared rolled his eyes. "So what? I snore in my sleep, and you don't think I get bothered by that?"

Evan uncovered himself and sighed. "You do, but that's different. It's soft and gentle, it's adorable."

8 pm- Jared and Evan went out to eat some dinner and now they were at Jared's place. They had spent the whole day doing things together, and they were tired. From walking around in the park to then walking far to a certain diner and then back to the parking lot.

They went to Jared's and immediately went to his room (after saying hello to his parents like hello they have morals).

They didn't even bother to change- just like yesterday, they were going to sleep in their day clothes.

Evan had his back on his bed as Jared lay on him. Jared went to say something but saw Evan fidgeting nervously.

"What's wrong star?" Jared asked.

Evan didn't respond, just looked down. "Nothing, nebula."

Jared groaned as he finally got a grasp of the concept. "Babe, drooling isn't that bad!"

"Yes it is! It's something that's annoying and bothersome and weird!" The nervous boy replied.

"You insisted on washing my shirt! It's okay!"

Evan didn't reply.

Jared sighed tiredly and pecked Evan's lips.

"Whatever. Just know that I love you and don't care about some stupid drooling. It's actually cute. If you don't accept the fact that you have that, then you'll never get over it. Accept it because it isn't a big deal. I love you so, so much."

Jared rested his head on Evan's stomach and yawned, and that was the end of that.

Evan set his head on his pillow and looked at his ceiling. Why did it bother him so much? He knew it was strange, but maybe Jared was right. It didn't matter.

Evan closed his eyes as the room was filled with darkness and Jared's gentles snores, and drifted off.
