I'm writing this oneshot with -brookie-lohst- , so please enjoy!!

I know this is going to be a downer to the oneshot, but Percy Jackson and his friends don't exist in this anymore and Zoe isn't Connors sister :(

Treebros

Connor knew he was a strange kid. From the very beginning, he knew that he was someone that no one really related to.

When Connor was in elementary school, his mother Cynthia bathed him every day and scrubbed him squeaky clean. He always smelled like vanilla.

He also had a diferent last name- but whatever it was, it got changed to Murphy after his dad left. He hated storms and loved bright days.

Connor never really liked school. The words on the board were more liked jumbles and switched letters, therefore, he never raised his hand and never spoke up in fear of being wrong, therefore, he was known as the shy and socially awkward kid.

The only person who really talked to Connor was a kid named Anthony. He always wore sports caps and baggy jeans. He also wore long-sleeve shirts and a plain bead necklace. Connor never argued or got suspicious, since he wore black as well all the time.

For 4 years, Connor lived his life- getting sticks and "sword-fighting" with Anthony, and running around and hiding from each other, or playing Magic the Gathering and Pokemon.

Until one day, he walked home to a packed backpack on his bed.

"Mom, what's going on?" Connor yelled, walking to his mother's bedroom.

Connor saw his mom scanning through her purse, and gasp when she saw her 14 year old son standing before her.

"Why is there a bag on my bed? Are we going on vacation?"

Cynthia rushed as she ran to Connor's room and snatched the bag, handing it to her son in a hurry as she took out 15 dollars from her pocket.

"Take these and use them only for emergencies. Anthony is waiting for you outside, follow him and do what he says, no matter what."

Connor's eyes widened in fear and horror. "Are you giving me away?!"

Cynthia knelt before her son and looked him in the eye. Connor then realized that his mother had tears streaming down her cheeks- she was crying.

"I love you," she said, "so, so, much. And I need you to listen to me. You know those myths that you always read about in school, about the Greek and Roman gods? They're real honey. And you're one of their descents."

Connor held in a breath. No way. No fucking way.

"You're not safe anymore. Monsters are always after you, your smell gives it away. I want to protect you so bad, honey, but there's nothing I can do. Just follow Anthony, he'll lead you to Camp Half-Blood. I love you."

Cynthia hugged Connor and kissed him on the forehead and walked to her room, sobbing into her hand.

Connor's breath hitched and wanted to run after her, but Anthony was suddenly behind him dragging him out.

Connor's feet hurt as he walked through the forest. He was growing tired, he was having an awfully weird day- his mom left him to force him to go to Camp Half-Blood, Anthony took off his cap and pants to reveal a goat man, Connor almost fainted because of that.

Connor snapped out of his thoughts as he heard footsteps nearing. And it wasn't just Anthony's clopping. It was something else.

Anthony's ears perked up and and he grabbed Connor's hand and started sprinting.

They ran and ran, and soon enough, a cyclops was after them.

"WHERE IS THIS GODDAMN CAMP?!" Connor yelled.

"THERE!" Anthony answered.

And in front of them was a tree and behind it some ancient stones. There was a kid watering some flowers around the tree, wearing an orange shirt and khaki shorts.

"MOVE!" Anthony screamed, trying to warn the kid.

The boy stood up and looked at them confused until he saw the roaring cyclops behind them.

Anthony and Connor were too fast, as they picked up the kid and ran through the stones and collapsed as they passed it.

Connor looked behind him and saw the cyclops on the other side, banging on some kind of forcefield. As Connot got up, he saw a camp before him. With cabins and a fireplace and fields for training.

Anthony walked off somewhere to a big mansion, and Connor helped up the kid.

"I'm Connor, by the way. Who are you?"

"Evan Hansen Gardiner, son of Demeter." Now this boy was cute- dirty blonde hair on his head and bright eyes. He had a bead necklace like Anthony's but with less beads, and his face turned red. Probably from being saved from death. Evan eyed Connor. "Newcomer, right?"

Connor nodded. "Demeter is the goddess of harvest and growth, correct?"

Evan nodded. "I love being a child of Demeter. Never met her, but I love her talents."

Connor sat beside Evan and his friends, Zoe, Alana, and Jared. Zoe was from the Apollo cabin, Alana was from the Athena cabin, and Jared was son of Dionysus. They were good person, but the best one was Evan. Evan was the sweetest, kindest, and most heartwarming.

They were seated at the campfire. Connor hadn't been "claimed" yet, but it was apparently okay, since most people weren't claimed at the spot.

He was set to sleep at the Hermes cabin, but he knew it wasn't right.

As the campfire started, they sung songs and got food scraped in and ate the remains on their plate. As Connor was about to scrape his food, he felt himself getting taller. He felt taller and taller, but then he realized he couldn't touch the ground. He saw himself flying, and dropped his plate in shock.

People gasped and pointed his way. Connor began to panic. Then Chiron approached him.

"I haven't seen anyone do that since Jason Grace." Chiron awed. "And he was the son of..."

Everyone was shocked even more. Connor didn't understand. He had no control.

He looked at Evan and his friends, who were freaked out.

"A son of Zeus."
