Lol brb gonna go fangirl in a corner

Evan promtly looked down at the floor as he made his way across the hall. The black-and-white world revolved around him. It was always plain. It was always gloomy. That's why he always chose his grey stripped shirt.

As we walked down the hall, he tripped over something. He thumped onto the floor, seeing a bottle of pills on the floor. A student hurriedly picked them up before the small boy could investigate any further.

"Oh, sorry!" The student apologized. His black hair almost covered his eyes.

"I-It's okay." Evan mumbled, getting himself up.

"Can I make it up to you? Can I... uhh...take you for coffee or something?" The student asked. His skin was a very light grey.

"Yeah!" Evan smiled.

"Awesome!" The student smiled, walking away.

"I'm Connor, by the way!"

Evan smiled brighter. "I'm Evan!"

Evan made his way to the coffee shop, excited. He was gonna meet up with Connor. Connor!

Evan opened the door and saw Connor on his phone, sitting at a table. Evan walked up the steps and sat down.

"Hey Connor!" Evan said.

Connor stared up from his phone and saw Evan before him. He put his phone away and took notice of Evan.

"Hey Evan!" Connor waved back at him.

"So... coffee..." Evan said, crossing his pale greyish arms nervously.

"Yeah..." Connor started. "Sorry about earlier today, I wasn't watching."

"It's okay! What were those pills for?"

"Not important."

"Oh, sorry!" Evan apologized profusely.

"It's fine." Connor said. Someone came up to them and the boys ordered something to drink.

The boys were walking out of the caffe, laughing. They had a great time together. But never did they once touch. They both wished to dearly, but didn't wish to make the moment awkward.

"And when Kleinman flipped over the table?! Priceless!" Connor laughed.

"Why would he do that?" Evan asked.

"H-He was one point away from an A!" Connor burst out laughing again, Evan joining him this time.

The boys weren't paying attention, but there was a loose tile before them. Evan tripped over it and fell, Connor grabbing his hand. Connor couldn't catch him and fell down with them. They both held hands as they fell.

Evan opened his eyes from bracing himself from the fall. He examined his knees. They were getting lighter and lighter in color...

In panic, he looked around him. He saw Connor rubbing his head, him also changing. He was changing to a different shade.

Evan eyed his knees again and saw a blood seep out of his bruises. They weren't grey anymore...

Connor looked around, dumbfounded by the fact that the world seemed... better. Prettier, more lively.

"...Hansen..." Connor muttered, examining the smallest things. All his clothes were black, and his hair was a shade a bit lighter than black. His skin was some kind of white. And then he looked at Evan...

And god was he the most gorgeous thing he had laid his eyes on.

"Yeah?" Evan looked over at Connor, getting the same effect.

"You look... amazing." Connor said, pulling him towards him.

"S-So do you..." Evan mumbled, inches away from Connor's face.

Connor kissed Evan, not knowing what he was doing. Evan hesitated at first, but then kissed back. Both still on the ground, they kissed for some time before catching their breaths.

"I know I just met you... but... you made the world around me seem... better. Because of you." Connor rambled, still holding Evan.

"Me too." Evan responded.

"I don't know the word... but I feel something between us." Connor said.

But Evan knew the word he was looking for.
