No ships

Evan Hansen set down his boxes in his new home. His mother, Heidi, finally had a sustainable job, and they had a lot of money, so they decided to move to a mansion 3 blocks down.

Evan was beyond ecstatic.

He ran to his new room, and organized everything.
Heidi did the same, but around the house.

Rounding night, Evan yawned tiredly and went to bed, but before he could get there, he heard a soft thump. Evan shook it off, but heard a louder one.

Curious, the boy went down the stairs, and saw his glass bowl filled with fruits on the floor.

And, fun fact: Evan was obsessed with the paranormal.

"Excuse me, is someone here?" Evan asked.

No response.

"If you're here, I don't know, please give me a sign."

Evan waited, and then heard it.
And felt it.

The rug he was standing on was tugged, and Evan fell of it.

"Hi, I'm Evan Hansen, ummm... I gotta go to school tomorrow, so please let me sleep. Is that fine?"

Nothing was heard.

"T-Thank you!"

And with that, Evan went to bed.

As Evan went to school the next day, people warned him of the house, telling him the story of Connor Murphy.

There was teenager once named Connor Murphy, who went to the very same school as everyone who was spreading the rumors. He was from a rather wealthy family, but his parents never cared for him, only or his sister Zoe. Connor grew into depression and anger issues, and one day he went down to the basement of the house and suffocated himself until he died. His parents found him dead as they went to get some fancy utensils for a ball they were preparing for.
He then haunted his family crazy until they left, but he didn't.

"Have you ever talked to him?" Evan's best friend, Jared, asked.

"Yeah, but he doesnt respond. He needs to possess a living vessel." Evan responded.

"Ooooh."

3 week's later, Evan decided to invite Alana and Jared over to his house for a sleepover. They accepted.

Once they reached Evan's house, Jared busted out a board game.
"Ugh, a board game?!" Alana complained.

"No, it's a game I found in my attic. Where a ghost speaks to you."  Jared said.

"Oh, I've seen this game, it's-"

"No one cared about your smarts Hansen! Let's play!"

Everyone stayed quiet as Evan and Jared organized the game.

"Who starts?" Alana asked.

"Hi, Umm. I'm Jared Kleinman, and I wanna ask- do you regret killing yourself?"

No

Everyone gulped as the thing moved to no.
"Hi, Alana Beck here, are the rumors true?"

Yes

"Hi, my name is Evan Hansen, as you know, what made you kill you self?"

They did as said.

Nothing happened until they saw Jared. His eyes suddenly rolled to the back of his head and he fell, passing out.

"JARED!" Alana screamed in worry.

Jared then stood up, but shyly waved.

"Hi, I'm Connor Murphy."

Evan approached "Jared" and touched his hands, and they were ice cold.

"Did you possess Jared?!" Evan panicked.

"Relax, he'll be fine... I think, I havent done this in a while."

Connor then took off Jared's glasses and threw them to the couch.

"Sorry, they were hurting my eyes."

Evan and Alana stared in shock. Connor had a sweet voice, but it was also rough.

"I cant believe it, we're talking to Connor Murphy." Alana gasped.

Connor looked at them. "What's wrong?"

"Nononono, nothing, it's just awesome we're talking to you!"

Connor nodded. "You too. And nice to finally talk to you Evan Hansen."

Evan smiled a bit.

"Sorry guys, nice talk and all, but I can't possess this 'Jared Kleinman' for too long or he could need some fucking medical attention. Thanks for having me, and bye!"

Evan and Alana watched at Connor closed his eyes, and Jared fell again. The two others rushed towards the small boy.

Jared groaned and rubbed his head. "Ow... what the hell just happened?"

"How do you feel?" Evan asked.

"I kind of have a migraine and I'm on the floor Hansen. What do you think." Jared deadpanned.

"Did you remember what happened?" Evan asked.

"No, I just passed out and woke up. What did happen?"

Alana and Evan looked back at the board game they were playing.
