The first month of tour is over and it has been a constant rush. Nothing gets old. Everything changes. The people, the atmosphere. It's incredible.
Serenity is especially happy today. We're on our way to Houston for the next show and she could not keep still. Her whole family brought tickets to the concert and afterwards, it's a big dinner at one of her relatives house. She's the definition of excited right now.
"I feel jittery. Am I jittery? Be honest." She says jumping next to me in front of the bus.
"Yes. Yes you are. You're very excited, that's all." Seeing her smile this big was enchanting. This is what I want from her. To be happy.
"My family will love you. They're a lot of a handful but you'll get used to them. We're crazy in a good fashioned kind of way."
"I can't wait to meet them." I half chuckled playing with the chain on my neck. Something in me felt jealous for a reason. I think she could see it too.
"Hey. I know we haven't been together for a long time or whatever but you're apart of my family now. You don't have to feel like you did before ever again. I got you, we got you." She held out her pinky finger and I held out mine. "And you might love me even more after what I planned."
"And that is?"
"A surprise silly." She giggled kissing my cheek. She stood up, pulling down her tank top that had risen to the top. "But it'll be great. Trust me." I get the feeling I should be worried.

"I really miss being here." Serenity murmurs holding onto my arm as we walk through the fair. I've seen the way she's acted since we been here, she's more relaxed. It's like she can breathe. "Get on the ferris wheel with me?"
Before I could even protest, she gave me the look. That look when she wants something bad. And silly me always fell for it. "Fine."
She squeals as she drags me over to the ride with the shortest line. As she was looking up at how high it was, someone called her name.
We both looked around to see who it was and saw like everyone staring at us. Duh. She's a superstar. "Serenity!" A guy started walking towards us and she screamed in my ear running for him.
"What are you doing here? My mom said you couldn't make it because of school." I somehow managed to stay put until she motioned for me to come over to them. "This is Jace. The guy I've been telling you about. This is my big cousin Blair."
