Him...

"Good evening, Mr. Parker. Do you want your regular table?" The waitress asked once Emma and I walked inside one of my favorite restaurants.

"Yea--uhh, you know what? No. Take us to a new one." I instructed.

I don't know why, but I surely don't want to have this dinner with Emma on the same table I eat on with every other woman. She's different than them in so many ways. Besides, so far, everything seems new with Emma. Even I seem new with Emma.

"Sure. This way, sir." We walked to the end of the restaurant. I wrapped my arm around Emma's waist possessively when I noticed half of the men at the bar checking her out.

Can't they see that she's with me? They are fucking pigs.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Emma asked when she noticed my tight grip on her waist.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, everything is fine. Here." I pulled the chair for her and then sat on the opposite side of the table.

"Seriously? A book?" She picked up the menu and flipped it over, eyeing it carefully as I chuckled.

"It's okay. I'll order for you, if you let me." She smiled sweetly before setting the menu back down on the table with an innocent nod.

"Thanks, but only chicken please. No red meat." She said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I honestly don't know. I just don't eat red meat." She shrugged and I raised my eyebrows.

"Don't even ask. I don't know. I thought I was turning into a vegetarian but I didn't. Anyway, let's just stick with chicken, please." She smiled.

"You're weird, do you know that?" I smirked. She shrugged and she only smiled further. The waitress came and wrote down our orders before she left.

"Well, she knows how to flirt." Emma muttered under her breath.

"What was that?" I narrowed my eyebrows and couldn't help but smile at her comment.

"Nothing. Nothing. That was nothing." She cleared her throat as a shade of beautiful pink ran to her cheeks.

"No, seriously, did you just say that she knows how to flirt?" I raised my eyebrows again, stressing on the matter.

"Yeah, what if I did? She was all over you. I mean, keep it together, woman, he's sitting with someone." She shrugged, rolling her eyes.

"Did you get jealous?" I couldn't help but grin, feeling stupidly and childishly happy.

"What!? No, of course not. She was just too obvious." She blushed further, confirming my thoughts.

"Well, what to say? I'm a catch." I winked and she only frowned in disgust.

"Get over yourself, Dean." She took a sip of her water and I chuckled.

I love teasing her. She blushes and babbles and gets all cute sometimes...and other times she becomes feisty and sexy as hell.

The food came pretty soon after.

Her...

That was very embarrassing! 'She was all over you'. 'She knows how to flirt'. 'He's sitting with someone'? What was that?! I didn't get jealous, of course. I mean, why would I? I just don't like the idea of women all over him. First was that Lauren, and now a flirtatious waitress. I mean, come on.

That doesn't sound like jealousy at all, Emma.

I'm not jealous. I don't even know him. I just...I don't know, okay? Besides, I have another problem right now that I urgently need to sort out.
