Chapter 18: The Prinicipal

I don't like mushy stuffs. No, I just don't like it, I despise it!

Ako yung klase ng tao na hindi fan ng mga fairytales and love stories. Kaya nga nung nililigawan pa lang ako ni Maven at dinala niya ako sa sinehan where the movie is a love story, I was extremely pissed. Niyaya ko siya na lumabas and I demanded na Fast and Furious ang panoorin namin.

Even of love songs I am not a fan. Nagkataon lang talaga na magaling ang LANY and they produce good songs kaya naging fan nila ako.

And speaking of LANY, here I am listening to ILYSB on repeat for three hours already. I like this song but not as much as I like Good Girls and Super Far but ugh! And I want to blame Blaise for this, damn it.

Kapag nandito na ako sa chorus part, si Blaise talaga ang naiisip ko. This is bad. So bad..

"Ma'am Arya?" may narinig akong tumawag sa'kin mula sa labas kaya hininaan ko yung volume ng laptop ko at naglakad papunta sa pintuan para tignan kung sino yun. Our maid.

"Tumawag po si Rennan at sabi niya mag online raw kayo sa Skype" she said

I nodded. "Okay, salamat" I said at isinara na ulit ang pintuan. I dashed towards my laptop at nagmadaling mag online. Like what I expected naka online na si Rennan. This is perfect. Sasabihin ko na sa kanya yung tungkol sa plano ko.

I was about to call him pero naunahan niya ako. I clicked the answer button right away.

"Annyeong Haseyo!" bati ko sa kanya na nang-aasar. He tsked at that.

"Siraulo wala ako sa Korea!" natawa na lang ako

"Okay, Ni Hao!" seryosong sabi ko and even bowed my head. He just rolled his eyes.

"Kamusta na dyan? Damn, I have good news and bad news for you. Ano gusto mo na unahin ko?" he asked

"Hmm.. Good news" I said excitedly. He tsked.

"Damn, hindi ka talaga babae eh noh? When you asked other girls out there what they like first they will all say bad news so they'll see the good news as happy ending. Kakaiba ka talaga" naiiling na sabi niya

"Ugh, whatever! Just spill it!" apura ko na sa kanya because he's being talkative already.

"Well, the good news is everything is going great here, so dad says" he started

I smiled at that. Anyway, inaasahan ko naman na magiging maganda ang bunga ng pagpunta nila sa China considering how hard working dad is.

"And the bad news is?" I asked

"Since things are doing great here, dad says we'll extend another three weeks here. Damn, I miss it there"

For a moment tahimik lang ako. I blinked twice. Tama ba ang narinig ko? They will extend for another three weeks there?

I hurriedly do a mental calculation. Based from Trina, probably three weeks or a month from now makakalaban ng school namin ang Herondale. Ibig sabihin, okay lang din kahit hindi ko sabihin kay Rennan.. by the time na nakabalik na sila rito more likely it's all done already.

I tried to weigh everything. Kung sasabihin ko kay Rennan ang tungkol sa plano ko mas malaki ang posibilidad na hindi siya pumayag. I've used my charms to him before pero hindi ko alam kung this time makakaya ko pa siya kumbinsihin just by calling him 'kuya'. I know Rennan enough. Hindi siya yung tipo na masusuhulan mo ng pera o kahit na anong gamit especially na hindi maliit na bagay ang hihilingin ko sa kanya ngayon.
