Chapter 96: Don't Tell Me

Blaise and I were busy with our new apartment that it seems to me at first that everything else happened a long time ago.

He doesn't want me to worry about the things happening right now in my family though he told me that the hearing has been going on already and it's being televised. So even though we have a fifty inches flat screen television here, hindi pa rin kami nanonood ng news. He always make sure that I always watch whether movies or discovery channel.

Medyo naninibago pa rin ako rito pero pinipilit ko ang sarili ko na masanay. I know given if the situation is different kahit siya ay hindi gugustohin na umalis doon sa dati namin apartment but even for me I think ito lang ang tama. Blaise will never be damned about our safety. Sapat na yung nangyari sa restaurant nun para malaman na delikado ang sitwasyon ko. Even Gail and Raf are in States right now. Dinala sila roon ni Jayden as soon as the news came out.

"I'm going to tell dad later already about Kuya GD" he started, snapping me out of my reverie.

I nodded at him "Gusto ko sumama. Can I?"

"Oo naman" he smiled then he reached for my hand and kissed the back of it. I just smiled at it too.

Things are hard for me right now but thankfully he is still here for me. The world can hate me for the sin of my family but I can endure that as long as he's beside me. He is my anchor to this life. The only reminder that I should go on in this life because he'll keep me afloat.

Nagpasabi na si Blaise na darating kami so when we have arrived at Casa Gandia, mayroon ng mga nakahain na pagkain sa mesa.

Though I am not quite sure na magagawa ba namin kumain considering we are about to drop a bomb.

"You're getting more beautiful, hija" it was Sir William who welcomed us and even hugged me. Though he's looking at me gracefully, there's still something off about his eyes. Probably because of the fact that Day Lighter is my father?

"Thank you po, sir"

"Hey, why do you keep on calling me sir? Call me grandpa" nahihiya akong napatawa.

Blaise then held my hand. "Nasaan si daddy, gran? There is something I want to discuss with him" he said because his parents and Kristel are nowhere to be seen. Tatlo pa lang kami rito sa dining.

"Oh pababa na sila. Your mom and dad were sleeping nung tumawag kayo while Kristel is still not home"

Blaise raised a brow at that. "Bakit pa siya wala rito? Hanggang alas singko lang ang klase niya ah. It's already seven"

I elbowed him. "Kristel isn't a high schooler anymore. Let her explore" saway ko sa kanya dahil sa tingin ko ay medyo O.A. siya. He's worse than my brothers!

"Your sister is already on the right age to do whatever she wants, Rafaelo. Give her a break. Noong nasa States tayo ay wala kang ginawa kung hindi paghigpitan siya. It's time that she go around and date some jerk already" dagdag pa ni grandpa that made Blaise more pissed.

"Ngayon pa lang ay naaawa na ako sa anak niyo kung babae ang isa dyan o parehong babae. Rafaelo here will surely chase away a hell lot of men" natatawang sabi ni grandpa na tinawanan ko rin. No doubt about that.

"My daughters are not allowed to date until their forty" Blaise said

"Oh come on. Sa edad na yun mahihirapan na sila magbuntis. Twenty three is enough" he looked at me like he want to reprimand me pero nagdadalawang isip siya. I smiled sarcastically.

"Bakit? Takot sa sarili mong multo, ano?"

He just rolled his eyes at that and looked away. Sakto naman na dumating na ang parents niya.
