Chapter 86: Every Moment

It's a busy day for me and my staffs dahil bukas na ang kasal ng kliyente namin. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako.

Hindi ko na nga sana ito tatanggapin cause damn.. noong isang araw ay bigla na lang tumawag sa'kin yung bride and she wants changes for the designs at magdagdag din ng mga bulaklak as if I am genie na isang hiling niya lang ay matutupad na ang gusto niya.

I was extremely pissed especially that the flowers she wanted ay ini-import ko pa from France. If she only had informed me a week beforehand, wala naman isyu sa'kin. But two days ago?! She's kidding!

I was actually ready to drop this deal but then the groom talked to me. He was very apologetic at nakagawa naman siya ng paraan kung paano makararating dito yung mga bulaklak nang mas maaga and he paid us double. Alam kong nas-stress na rin siya sa kaartehan ng mapapangasawa niya so I decided to just get on with everything. Tulong ko na lang din sa kanya.

"Make sure na hindi na tayo magkaka aberya ah?" bilin ko sa mga staffs ko and they all nodded in unison. Bumuntong hininga ako then walked towards my office para makapagpahinga muna. I've been working nonstop magsimula pa kanina na magbukas kami.

Pagkaupo ko sa swivel chair ko ay agad kong minasahe ang sentido ko. Wala na akong ibang gusto pa ngayon kung di matapos na lang ang business transaction ko sa mga kliyente na yun so I can maybe go to the beach next week to relax.

The door opened kung kaya't napadilat ako. It's Wayne, Kurt, and Terence. Kahit pagod, I managed to give them a sweet smile.

It's been four years.. sa kabila nang mga nangyari dati, they still remain good friends to me. Gaya ko, they are all busy with the career they chose already but they still find the time to check up on me here every once in a while. I can actually say that I found a brother figure on them.

"Arya" Kurt greeted me and even gave me a hug. Ganun din si Terence at Wayne.

"Bakit parang bihis na bihis kayo? May lakad ba kayo?" tanong ko sa kanila when I notice how they look. It seems to me that they're going to a party.

"Yeah. And isasama ka raw namin sabi ni Russel. So let's go to your apartment para makapag-ayos ka na. He said that it's a party doon sa club nila. The pack will also be there" Wayne said

Pinalobo ko ang pisngi ko. "But I am too tired. Marami pa akong aasikasuhin. There's a wedding coming up" I reasoned that is somewhat true.

It's not that umiiwas ako kay Russel at sa iba pa. It's just.. I really feel awkward when they're all around me. Hindi man nila tahasan na sabihin sa'kin pero alam kong karamihan sa kanila ay galit pa rin sa ginawa ko noon sa kaibigan nila. Kay Blaise.

"But it's Friday.. isa pa, you have a lot of staffs here naman ah. Anyway, hindi naman tayo magtatagal doon. And I promise that I will drive you home" pakiusap ni Wayne and puckered his lips

Napailing na lang ako at natawa. I really can't say no to these boys.

Two years ago, I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Management and after that, lumipad ako papunta sa France para mag-aral ng flower designing for a couple of months. After a lot of hard work and trainings there I became a certified florist. Kaya naman pagbalik ko rito ay nagbukas ako ng sarili kong flower shop. Who would have thought right? This is very far from what I really pictured back then.

At first, dad is against it. He offered me a position in Regent but I turned him down. Wala rin siyang nagawa noong sinabi ko na gusto ko ng bumukod ng bahay dahil yari na ang desisyon ko. Kahit sila kuya ay hindi ako napigilan.

I just can't continue living in a house where every corner of it constantly reminds me of my twin brother and the pain I caused Blaise. They say that time heals all wounds and if someone is gone you will eventually get over it, pero sa'kin ay hindi ganun. There's not a day that passed na hindi ko naaalala ang kambal ko. Hindi pa rin nawawala ang sakit hanggang ngayon and I don't think it will ever be gone. Ganun din sa ginawa ko kay Blaise. Sa tuwing titingnan ko si Kuya CL I can't help but remember everything.
