Chapter 99: Get Away

Papunta kami ngayon sa Batangas kasama ang mga kaibigan namin. I am actually excited because Gail and Raffy will also be there! With the things happening right now, seeing them will really make me happy.

Naputol ang pag-iisip ko when he clutched my hand and kissed the back of my palm.

"Pinareserve ko yung buong resort para sa'tin kaya huwag kang maga-alala roon. It will be just us and our friends"

I nodded at that. Well, it's a relief. I am really looking forward to this out of town trip so I am hoping na sana ay wala naman mangyaring hindi maganda.

Napag-usapan na roon na mismo magkikita sa resort kaya tuloy-tuloy lang ang byahe namin. We only stopped if we feel the need to use the comfort room o nagugutom ako.

It's almost afternoon when we have arrived. Hindi pa man ako nakakababa, natatanaw ko na ang iba. As soon as Blaise stopped the car, bumaba na ako kaagad at tumkbo papunta kay Raffy.

"Tita Arya!" he yelled and he was about to hug me pero natigilan siya. I narrowed my eyes at that.

"Hey baby, ano yun?" I pinched his chubby cheek gently.

He looked at me worriedly. "What happened to your stomach? Why is it so big? Are you sick?" he's almost crying.

I bit my tongue to strain myself from laughing dahil baka tuluyan na siyang umiyak. I then felt Blaise wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Tita Ari, isn't sick. She's pregnant" siya ang sumagot.

Raffy's eyes widened. "What's pregnant?" nagtawanan ang mga kaibigan namin na pinapanood pala kami. Gail on the other hand just sighed and shook her head.

"Well, there are babies inside Tita Ari's stomach and they will come out soon. They are your cousins. And kapag nandito na sila, you will be a kuya already" it's Blaise again and this time he lowered himself para magkapantay sila ni Raffy.

"Whoa, I will be a kuya?! Yay! I've always wanted to have a baby sister or a baby brother! I've been asking that to mom but she said it's not easy. Pero bakit po si tita nagawa niya? Is my mom, noob?"

"Oh gods, Raffy! Come on, you need to eat now!" pasok ni Gail sa usapan dahil natawa na naman ang iba. She dragged Raffy away as we all started to go inside.

"Hey, pregnancy is doing very well with you. You're blooming" it's Trina who just popped out of somewhere at inakbayan ako.

"You just happened to see me in my good shape" natatawang sabi ko as we caressed the stomach of each other. How funny it will be kung maging si Gail buntis ngayon.

True to Blaise's words, kami nga lang ang tao maliban sa mga empleyado. I inhale a sharp breath upon realizing that there is a beach! Ang akala ko ay puro swimming pool lang dito but turns out na mayroon din palang dagat!

"Come on, babe. Punta muna tayo roon sa room. Do not be so over excited dahil baka madulas ka" hinawakan niya na ako as he guided me papunta sa room namin. Magkakatabi lang naman kaming lahat ng kwarto. Yung mga walang kasamang girlfriend ay nagsama sama sa isang kwarto while the others rented their own.

"Hanggang kailan tayo rito mags-stay?" I asked nung kaming dalawa na lang. Nandito na kami sa room na sinasabi niya. It's not that extravagant but it's still comfortable dahil maayos ang mga kagamitan. The window is also over looking to the beach. Hindi ko na nga binuksan yung aircon dahil malamig na ang hangin na pumapasok.

"Well, mga three days sana. Pero kung magyayaya ka umuwi ng earlier, walang problema. If you also want to extend okay lang din" he answered.

I removed my sandals at humiga sa kama. Hindi ko mapigilan mapangiti as I felt the air kissed my skin. It's been a while since the last time I've been to a beach so it really feels good now.
