Maybe I week or so after I cut my hair, one kid was talking to his buddy, and said, "I should ask *birthname* if she's a *t-slur*."
And this kid who I don't really even know, (I doubt we've talked) who sat behind him said, "You know I can hear you right? That's not acceptable, and I'm not going to let you do that."
I felt so loved.
Moral of the story, their will be people who support you, they may even be the ones who you least expect to.
