Book 1: Where did I go wrong (Stuck in Attack on Titan fanfic)

Chapter 16: Survey corps HQ

 I sighed as I walked slowly out of Erwin's office. Eren, Armin, and Mikasa followed me as Eren kept nagging me about seeing his old home in Shiganshina and not telling anyone. I just ignored it but that wasn't really easy because he kept calling me shorty, which we all know gets me angry. Armin tried to tell Eren that I didn't know, but he didn't listen. Mikasa just ignored what was happening, or so it seemed. I never really know when it comes to her.

"Hey guys," I heard someone say.

I turned my head around to see Sasha, Jean, and Connie walking towards us. I smiled and waved at them and Sasha did the same. Sasha ran up to me and started to hug me.

"Hey Hato!" she nearly yelled.

"Hi Sasha," I said.

"How's your head doing?"

"It's fine."

"Do you not remember anything?" asked Sasha.

I shook my head.

"It's just like before," said Jean.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin looked at the others confused.

"What are you talking about?" asked Eren.

"Well...."

"We'll tell you later. Right now, we need to do finish what Levi told us to do," said Jean.

"Oh right," said Sasha.

Sasha stopped hugging me and started dragging me through the hall ways. Jean followed and Connie stayed with the others.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Levi asked us to give you a tour of the Hq, but first," said Sasha as she dragged me to a random hallway," You need to get changed."

Sasha dragged me into one of the rooms and shut the door. She then walked away and came back with a uniform similar to hers. She then gave it to me and pushed me into the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Well, Hanji told us that you needed a uniform because your clothes are, well, ruined," Sasha explained.

I looked into the mirror and, she was right, my clothes made it seem like I was attacked by a pack of wolves. My clothes were shredded. I looked at my newsboy cap to see that it wasn't even touched. Thank goodness for that. I took of my hoodie and looked at my entire outfit was destroyed except for the purple ribbon that was once in my hair. The ribbon was now around my neck and had a few blood stains on it.

I sighed and took off my clothes and put on the uniform. I looked in the mirror and smiled. The uniform looked really good on me, some how. It looked really natural on me, like I was actually a part of the military. I had a white collared shirt on under the uniform that, for some reason, looked familiar. I looked on the ground and found a blue vest and gray pants near where I had my uniform. I picked it up along with the rest of my clothes and walked out of the bathroom. Sasha looked over at me and smiled.

"You look great!" she said.

"Thanks," I said," Hey Sasha, what's this for?"

I held out the blue vest and gray pants. Sasha looked at me confused before realizing what I was saying.

"Oh, that's for when we have a day off or we're trying to go somewhere and we can't wear the uniform. Levi told me to give that to you, don't know why that tho."

I looked at Sasha, then at the vest and pants.

'Why does it look so familiar?' I thought.

"Come on Hato," said Sasha," Let's through these shredded clothes away."

I nodded my head as Sasha left the room. I followed her out into the hallway where Jean was waiting. When we got out in the hallway, Jean looked at me surprised.

"You're still wearing that ribbon and hat?"

I nodded my head.

"Why?"

I shrugged.

"I don't know, just felt like it."

Jean sighed and walked away. Sasha followed Jean while dragging me.

"Come on! We need to show you around HQ," said Sasha.

"Ok," I said.

For about an hour, Sasha and Jean were showing me around the castle, also known as the Survey corps HQ. There wasn't really anything exciting about it, except for the cafeteria, but I still listened to every word Jean and Sasha said. When we got to the last stop, which for some reason was a giant field, I gasped. On the road near by were two Titans nailed to the ground. I looked at Jean and Sasha to see that they weren't surprised at all.

"Looks like that expedition wasn't a waste after all," said Jean.

I looked at him a little angry.

"So you're saying I'm a waste of space?"

Jean looked at me and laughed.

"Yeah, guess you could say that."

"Don't be mean to her. She did save me and Connie," said Sasha.

"That doesn't fix the fact that we lost half of the Survey corps just to find you and Armin, Shorty."

"Did you just call me short?" I asked, trying my hardest not to yell.

"So what if I did?" asked Jean.

I sighed.

"You are so blunt," I said.

Jean ignored me and walked over to where the Titans were. Sasha and I followed. When we got to the area, we saw Hanji stabbing one with a spear. She looked happy yet sad at the same time. One of the soldiers was trying to calm her down while she screamed 'I'm sorry'. I sighed as Sasha laughed. When Hanji finally noticed us, she started waving her hand really fast.

"HEY GUYS. DID YOU COME TO SEE THE TITANS?" she yelled.

Jean sighed.

"No, we're just showing this newbie around and we just so happened to come here at this moment," said Jean.

"Oh," said Hanji," How are you doing Hato?"

"Um, fine," I said.

"That's good. Now, back to what I was doing," she said while pushing the spear into another part of the titan. I sighed and walked away with Sasha and Jean.

"She's just as crazy as my friend," I said to myself.

Suddenly, I felt someone grab my hand and drag me away. I looked over at Sasha, who was dragging me, with a questionable look.

"What are you doing Sasha?" I asked.

"I'm bringing you to the girls dorms. I want you to meet some of my other friends!"

Happy Valentines Day! Also one of the Olympic ice skating teams skated to Yuri on Ice. I'M SO HAPPY!
