Chapter 29: That's ME!?

 I sighed as I slid down the wooden wall. I was finally able to get some rest after running from that FREAKING ghost girl. Of course, she's stabbed me multiple times with those scissors. I swear she wants to kill me.

Suddenly, I heard giggles coming from one of the hallways. I quickly stood up and ran into the closest classroom. I closed the door as quietly as possible and sighed. I looked at the classroom, only to find that I was inside a house. I looked around and hid behind a random door. I peeked out from behind it and looked around.

"Nobody's home," I whispered.

Suddenly, the front door opened, causing me to jump backwards. I hid behind the random door again. When I looked at the other side of the door again, I saw Charity and Farlan walking into the house.

"Hey onii~chan," said Charity.

Farlan looked down at the girl.

"I'm sorry for causing trouble," she said.

Farlan smiled and patted Charity on the head.

"No worries Charity. It's not your fault for having white hair," he said.

Charity looked at him with worried eyes as he closed the door.

"But I was being reckless," she said.

"It doesn't matter if you are reckless or not. They would have done anything to get to you, so I would rather you be reckless then get caught," he said.

Charity still frowned as Farlan walked into the kitchen. She walked over to the couch and flopped down on it. She curled up into a ball and started to fall asleep. Farlan looked at her and smiled. We both then heard the door close and looked over at it. Levi was at the door looking at Charity's sleeping body. He then walked over to the little kitchen and sat at the table.

"I swear, Charity is going to be the death of us," said Levi.

Farlan smiled and looked over at Charity. He then walked over to one of the cabinets and grabbed out a book. He then put it next to Charity. He smiled as Levi pulled out his knife and stated cleaning it. Suddenly, we heard a loud thump on the door. Charity immediately woke up and looked at the door. Farlan walked up to the door and pulled his knife out. He then looked at Charity and nodded his head. Charity then grabbed the book that was next to her and ran behind the door that I was behind.

I looked at Charity to see that she was curled up into a ball. She opened the book up and started flipping through it. After a while, she finally started to read. For some reason, I didn't pay attention to what was happening in that room other then Charity.

"I see," she whispered," Sa-ku-ra."

Suddenly, Farlan walked around the corner and looked at Charity.

"It's ok to come out now Charity," he said.

Charity stood up quickly.

"Hai!" she said.

She walked out of the corner and looked around. Levi was gone now, but there was someone else here. It was a girl with red hair in two, short ponytails and green eyes. She looked at Charity and smiled.

"Charity, this is Isabel. She's going to be staying with us from now on," said Farlan.

Charity nodded her head and looked at Isabel. I tried listening to what they were talking about, but something kept nagging me.

'Wasn't that the girl that I saw when I was trying to day dream?' I thought.

Suddenly, Charity started talking about the book.

"There's no story in this book," said Charity excitedly.

"Really, what's it say then?" asked Isabel.

"It's a translation book," said Charity.

'Translation?' I thought.

"For what?" asked Farlan.

"Japanese!" she beamed while flipping through the book," For example: Dove is hato and cherry blossom is sakura!"

"Really? That kinda sounds like a name," said Isabel.

'Wait, that's my name. Unless...'

Charity looked really happy when she said that.

"Hato sakura!" she beamed.

'I'm CHARITY!?'

Suddenly, everything went black. Then, another image appeared just as quickly as the last one disappeared. Charity, Levi, Farlan, and Isabel were walking somewhere with their 3DMG.

"Charity," said Farlan," Promise us if anything doesn't go according to the plan that you will run."

"Hai," she whispered.

"Come on," said Levi.

The all walked to the end of the alleyway and started using their gear. They flew over a lot of things until they finally decided to go low enough to kick some boxes that belonged to some merchants. The merchants started yelling at them, but they didn't listen.

"YAHOO," yelled Isabel.

They kept going for a few more minutes until Farlan alerted them.

"Levi, their here."

Isabel looked behind her and smiled.

"The military police again? You'd think they would have given up by now," said Isabel," Hey Levi-bro, what I just said was cool, right?"

"Are you an idiot?" said Levi, causing Isabel to pout.

Levi started doing something really cool with the gear, trying to through the military police off. But I noticed something strange about the military police, so did Farlan.

"Wait, those aren't the military police," said Farlan.

"Correct," said Levi," There's no doubt about it, it's the wings of freedom."

"You mean those guys who fight titans?"

"They don't seem like much."

"Don't underestimate them," said Charity.

The others looked at her confused.

"I can sense a great amount of skill coming from them. There's no doubt that they're amazing fighters, so please be careful."

"Wait Charity," said Farlan.

Before Farlan could say anything else, Charity went through a random ally way.

"Let her go," said Levi," She's strong. She can protect herself."

Charity flew through the ally way with no flaw in her actions. She flew above boxes and under 'Bridges' avoiding everyone she past by. Suddenly, a member of the Survey corps flew above her. When she noticed this, she made a sharp turn into an area to small for anyone else but her to get through. She flew around the area and dodge every obstacle that was in her way. Suddenly, we heard the sound of the roof above her falling. Charity tried dodging the falling debris, but was instead pinned by it. Charity tried to get out, but couldn't. She then froze when we heard footsteps. Charity looked up to see a women about 16 years old in the Survey corps uniform looking directly at her.

"Don't move," she said.
