I'm sorry, I had to use this pic.

I looked at them, surprised.

"Wow. I would have never guest that that happened," I stated.

"Yeah, nor did we," said Chelsea.

I smiled, but sighed after a few minutes. I laid down and looked at the ceiling.

"To be honest, I'm sad that this world is the way it is," I said.

Chelsea and Anthony nodded their heads.

"I mean," I started," This world has no anime and I was just watching the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya."

Chelsea started laughing and Anthony looked at me shocked.

"Is that REALLY all you care about!? What about the people who live in fear behind the walls?!" yelled Anthony.

"Well, them too," I said," You do realize that I was joking, right?"

Anthony sighed with relief.

"I do now," he stated.

"Anyways, how did you guys join the Survey corps? I'm honestly really curious."

"Well...."

*Flashback*

Anthony slowly opened his eyes to find himself in the cellar that he saw in the pool. He shivered a little and looked around. The room had a lot of books and a few things that he couldn't identify. The room didn't have any light in it, so he couldn't really see much. Suddenly, he heard the sound of someone moving.

"Anthony?"

"Chelsea?"

He suddenly felt someone hugging him.

"Thank goodness, you're okay! I got so worried that...."

"Nothing bad happened to me, don't worry?"

Chelsea let go of Anthony and looked around.

"So, where are we?" she asked.

"Your guess is good as mine."

Suddenly, some of the roof broke off, allowing light to flutter into the room. They both looked up and saw someone jumping in. He was wearing the survey corps uniform and had the maneuvering gear on. The man looked around and when his eyes fell on Anthony and Chelsea, he smiled and called out to his comrades above.

"I'VE FOUND SURVIVORS!" he yelled.

Another soldier came through the hole and looked at the two kids.

"Hey, are you two alright?" asked the soldier.

Luckily, Chelsea and Anthony learned how to speak in German when they were very young, so they understood what they were saying. Chelsea nodded her head while Anthony looked at the ground. He didn't want to be there at that moment. It was some what embarrassing and Anthony always tried to avoid embarrassing situations. The soldiers sighed with relief and looked up through the whole. They started talking about how they were going to get them back into the walls, but Anthony and Chelsea had no idea what they were talking about. After a while, the soldiers grabbed them both and smiled.

"Were going to bring you to safety, so don't worry."

*Time skip brought to you by demon kittens*

Chelea and Anthony looked at the giant walls that were behind them. They were in a wagon that was on it's way to the trainee camp (It was a very long time skip, okay), and so far they've been given a lot of attention. They didn't know why, but after a while, they figured out that it was because they were 'survivors' from the titan attack not to long ago. They were honestly surprised to find out that humanity in this place was at the brink of extinction. Chelsea couldn't help being sympathetic towards them, but Anthony wasn't. Not to say he didn't feel bad for them, he was just trying to figure things out. He had never heard of a country that thought humanity was at the brink of extinction, if there even was one. The only thing that he could come up with is that the pool brought them to a new world.
