Part 2
2 and half years later"What am I suppose to do while you are gone? I am going to be so bored." Harry whines as I finish packing my suitcase.
"I don't know, call your girlfriend." I laugh at Harry's pout. "Harry, you will be alone for a week and then Rae will be back in the U.S. Take this time to do all your manly things." I look up at Harry and smile at him.
"I don't know what I would have done without you. When Rae said she was taking an internship in London I about lost it. I took my job in New York City for her." Harry chuckles at the stressful memory.
"And she took the internship in London for you. Blah, blah, blah you two are so cute." I playfully roll my eyes.
Rae and Harry are the only ones who made it past college. Lacey and Louis broke up after Junior year. She was a senior and was moving. I know they cared about each other, but not a lifetime thing. Brett broke up with his girlfriend after their freshmen year. Brett has decided to not do a committed relationship while in college. He is focused on soccer and school. Brett isn't like me though. He doesn't do random hook ups. Liam is still the same old Liam, except now he is in L.A trying to become a music producer.
None of us are surprised that Rae and Harry have made it this far. They fell in love at first sight. I'm happy for them and only slightly jealous of what they have. They deserve the happiest of all things.
"Sorry you had to deal with that." Harry laughs and scratches the back of his neck. "You were getting ready to send off your book to a publisher, but you still found time to keep Rae and I together."
"You guys would have figured things out and plus I dedicated my book to you guys! I need you two to stay together." I pull my suitcase off my bed.
"We aren't the only ones who you dedicated your book to." Harry tries to sound offended. Then he starts to mock me by grabbing my book and reading the dedication. "I would like to dedicate this book to two of my best friends. They made me believe in love. Harry and Rae, keep being that couple. I would also like to dedicate this book to the boy that broke my heart. This book and my love for football would have never happened if it wasn't for you." Harry places his hand on his heart.
"Just give me the book. My assistant is going to be here any minute." I yank the book out of Harry's grasp.
"Sorry miss fancy pants. Did you pack your Styles clothing so you can shamelessly promote my business?" Harry turns around and opens a dresser drawer.
"I packed my t-shirt, sweatshirt, the tote bag, and my baseball cap. Don't worry, I plan on showing off your cool design." I smile proudly at Harry.
For some senior project, Harry had to create a nonprofit organization business. Harry made shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, and hats with the logo "Treat people with kindness." Then he said that the money he made would go to the LGBTQ+ community. His teacher loved this idea so much that he got Harry in contact with a man who helped Harry's dream become reality. In the last two years Harry has made close to a million dollars, which never happens for a newbie. His business is only growing. Harry and his mentor are constantly thinking of new ways to expand the business. After we graduated college Harry's mentor told him to move to New York City. I was already moving there for my book so it was perfect.
"I can't believe that we have lived together for two and half years and we have taken over New York City." Harry pumps his fist in the air in triumph.
"How has the time gone by so fast? I am about to leave on a world book tour and you are about to hit your one million mark." A lot of things have changed and we were at each other's side through it all. Rae would have killed us if it was any different.
