Chan always knew that (Y/N) is very beautiful, inside and out. With that heartwarming smile of hers, that funny sense of humor, her undying support for his career, her pure, golden heart to everyone, and her carefree, lovable personality, he knew that he got so lucky to have her—in his eyes she's perfect; any man would be very lucky to have her as a partner for life.

There was no doubt about the fact—from her personality downright to her looks, every feature seems to scream perfection.

But when other men started noticing it too, he couldn't help but feel annoyed until it reaches to the point where he wanted to strangle them to death. A foreign, awful feeling settles in the pit of his stomach, and all of it was new to him.

Jealousy?

Chan snorted to himself.

Being the ex-leader of the famous group SK, known for their clean, swift skills in the line of assassination, he knows how to handle physical pain, hold a gun, wring a person's neck, shoot arrows from an insane range, and basically amazing skills in self-defense and martial arts.

Other than that, he has hobbies outside his assassin life. Under the black mask he and the group wore, he is a very bubbly person who cares for the younger members of the group. He likes to buy things for them and make them live the rest of their lives happily—as if they are living a normal life.

"No," Chan says to convince himself, "she's your girlfriend, and you trust her. You love her, she loves you. That's all that matters."

That's right. He does trust (Y/N) with all his heart, body and soul, but he doesn't trust other guys. Guys who have been living a perfectly normal life and have decent jobs, and not as ex-assassins who kill for a living.

Discarding those thoughts away, Chan rolled off the bed and fell on the floor. With a groan, he stood up and grabbed a new pair of jeans and a fresh new top. He wanted to look presentable today since he's going to take his beloved girlfriend out on a date.

"Wow Chan, look at that!"

(Y/N) pointed at something far off in the distance which caught her eye as she started tugging on Chan's sleeve, but the guy couldn't focus on their date since he was too busy glaring at another guy who had been eyeing his girlfriend for quite a while now.

He was a decent-looking guy, wears fine yet casual clothing, his hair isn't dyed, and he looks like the type of guy any girl would look for. Instantly Chan felt a little insecure and threatened about this, although he wouldn't admit it in himself the guy looked pretty handsome. He glared at him and gave him the deadliest look an expert in assassination can master, but his looks were dumped to waste when the guy didn't even flinch and continued to stare at his girlfriend.

"Stay. Away." he mumbled through gritted teeth as his grip on (Y/N)'s hand started to tighten.

The guy shrugged and smirked at him, which only heightened Chan's annoyance more. He pulled (Y/N) away from the crowd and led her to a much quieter part of the park where he had taken her out for their date.

After a while of aimless walking and him occasionally checking behind her to see if they both had lost that guy, he stopped walking, which made her stop walking as well.

"You've been really quiet, Chan. What's wrong?" (Y/N) asks, a hint of worry evident in her voice.

"Nothing," he says and keeps his grip on her hand.

Feeling a little tense, (Y/N) tried to ease the tension in the air by dragging her boyfriend to the local coffee shop which made good beverages and tasty treats.

They sat on an empty booth for two people after ordering, still silent as ever. (Y/N) felt a bit suffocated so she excused herself for a while to get their orders.

Once she came back with a tray of food, she sat back on her seat and leaned her back against the fluffy leather seat, taking a slice of bread from the plate before looking at her boyfriend who spaced out.

"Chris, aren't you hungry? I ordered your favorite," she cooed, trying to get her boyfriend to speak.

"I just...feel a little bit off, you know?" Chan said, laughing a bit, but (Y/N) wasn't having any of it. Instead, she stood up and went to sit beside him and scoot closer to Chan until their faces are practically a hair away.

Chan suddenly felt embarrassed and flustered for some unknown reason. Maybe it's because of that unwavering stare his girlfriend is giving him, who knows?

"Chris..." (Y/N) says softly.

"Yeah?"

"Do you love me?"

"Of course I love you. So much." he answers with no hesitation.

(Y/N) smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips before pulling away.

"I love you too, Chris Bang. And I doubt I'd ever love anyone the same, because you're the only one who can make me this happy." she smiled and sat properly on her seat, her arm reaching out to the coffee she bought.

Chan felt happy again. He didn't know how she did it, but with that small act of hers, she managed to erase all the worries and insecurities he felt earlier.
