I sighed as I placed my textbooks down on my desk, lying down on my bed afterwards. Today has been rough and hectic—although it started great at first since I got to see my friends again after a month of vacation in America—I saw my ex-boyfriend, Seokjin, again. He was with another girl and even though we broke up two months ago it still kinda hurt me to see him with another girl.

As the day went by, my mood just subsided and the moment I finally got home I thought I was gonna get a good night's rest when my dad informed me we were hosting a dinner party for his new partner in the company.

It frustrated me and to top it all off, my homeworks, projects and reports also managed to sneak inside my schedule, which are a pain in the ass. Literally.

"I want you to be dressed formally and in something decent, and be kind to Mr. Seo's son." those were my dad's exact words.

I decided to just put on a happy face as I removed all my clothes and took a quick bath. After that I dolled myself up a bit, putting on my silky light pink knee-length dress, white stilettos, my makeup done lightly, and my hair fixed nicely.

It was about six thirty in the evening when I went out of my room and gracefully stepped down the staircase, careful not to trip on my heels.

My dad smiled at me, and the doorbell rung. Our guests are here, I thought and went to the main door, opening it.

When I did, my jaw almost went slack when I saw a handsome, young man behind Mr. Seo, he has this stoic look on his face and he looks sophisticated and cold yet I couldn't help but feel attracted towards him (although he's short). I smiled and let them in.

The night went pretty well. All throughout the dinner, Changbin—Mr. Seo's son—and I shared flirty winks. He would occasionally wink at me from across the table with that playful smile of his, or try to play footsie with me, his shoes kicking my stilettos gently, which would make me glare at him.

He laughed it off, and that caught the attention of everyone at the table, so he just grinned like a little kid, making me giggle at his behavior.

I really thought Changbin was a cold guy, but he proved me wrong, he really is a fun guy to be around, and he makes me laugh in just the small things he does.

When it was about 8:15 p.m. my dad told me to show Changbin around since he and Mr. Seo has to talk about business, and he wanted me to keep him company, which I happily agreed to.

Changbin and I went to the basement, sitting down on the black leather couch with my legs shamelessly placed on his thighs, his hands caressing my skin. I blushed at the touch, but I didn't mind.

"So, (Y/N)..."

I turned to him, and saw him looking at me in the eye.

"Hm?"

"Nothing," he smiled.

I rolled my eyes and leaned over to take a handful of popcorn that was placed on top of the coffee table in front of us.

"You look a lot like your dad, you know?" I quip, eating the buttered popcorn I have in my hands.

Changbin looked at me with a horrified expression and started cackling loudly. I laughed as well, seeing that he jutted his bottom lip out in a fake pout as if he was hurt by my comment.

"Well, you look a lot like your dad," he mimicked, sticking his tongue out.

I mirrored his expression and gasped in fake horror, my hand clutching my chest. He laughed as he looked at my posture.

"I know that I'm much more attractive and alluring than my dad!" I exclaimed, which just fueled his chortling.

Suddenly, his laughter died down. He pushed my legs off his lap gently, scooted closer to me and held both my hands. His eyes were looking deep into my eyes, a small smile dancing upon his lips.

"You really are beautiful, (Y/N)." he said seriously, and I immediately felt as if electricity shoot through every blood vessel in my body and his touch was like a scorching fire against my icy cold skin.

He kissed my knuckles and I smiled, feeling his lips on my skin.

"Changbin! Let's go home!" his father suddenly yelled from upstairs, making him jump away from me in surprise. I giggled, but I was slightly mad on the inside.

Way to ruin the moment.

We both stood up and I straightened out my dress. I looked at Changbin and he was already looking at me. Standing on my tippy toes, I placed a feathery kiss on his cheek, smiling at him once I pulled away.

"I'll see you soon?" I say.

He smiled and reached out until I felt his large palm softly caressing my head. I smiled at the touch.

"I promise you, this will not be the last time you'll see me." he smiled and left the basement, with me standing there, smiling like an idiot.
