I'll use another language here...don't worry, I'll write the meaning of it for the sake of my English-speaking readers! This one is for my fellow Filipino STAYs out there...fighting! ✌

I shifted in my bed, trying to find the right position for me to sleep on. I tried to hug my pillow, lay on my stomach, bury my head inside my blankets, and even tried to sleep upside down (if you know what I mean), but anything I do wouldn't work.

I feel like something's wrong. Very wrong.

Well technically, my day had been perfect, except for that little fight between me and Chan. He was supposed to take me out for dinner tonight so he can make up for all the dates he missed because of his practice, but he couldn't, since some members of Twice treated them out for dinner. And he couldn't just reject them, so he moved our plans. Again.

Call me petty, but I hate the feeling of someone rain checking me, especially when that person is my boyfriend.

I sighed and rolled off my bed, my back hitting the hard floor, causing me to groan at my stupidity and laziness. Sitting up, I leaned my back on the bedpost, cross-legged, as I reach over my nightstand to grab my phone.

I couldn't sleep. Might as well make myself busy with some crap.

Just then, my phone started ringing, and it flashed the name of the person I wanted to talk to last.

Chan.

I groaned and threw my phone on my bed. But seconds later, I peeked through my pillow and saw that my phone was still buzzing, meaning he wasn't going to back out of whatever he is planning to do.

After a few moments I finally got annoyed of the buzzing sound and clicked the green button on my phone, listening to Chan shush Changbin as shuffles were heard from the other line. I kept silent, wanting to hear what he has to say.

"(Y/N)? Baby, can you hear me?" he says frantically.

I stay quiet, and I hear him sigh.

"Alright, you can say nothing if you want, but please, please please please hear me out, baby. I need you to listen to me. Is that okay?"

I nod, although I know he couldn't see me. Looking at the digital clock on my bedside table, I saw that it was already 11:57 in the evening.

"Hmm...I take your silence as a yes," he chuckles at the end.

"I don't want to make this long, baby, but I think more than a hundred words is needed to make this situation a bit more lighter," he says.

"I am really, really sorry for what happened today, baby. I was out with the boys, and I know seeing me with other girls can piss you off, big time. And I'm sorry for that. Also, I couldn't remember how many times I led you on on our dates, and I'm so sorry, baby.

"I won't promise that it won't happen again, but all I want to tell you is that I love you so damn much, and even if all the most beautiful girls in the world were to be traded for you I'd rather die than be with all those girls. I don't want them, I only want you."

After a few moments of him speaking, silence passed over us. Chan then began talking after a few more seconds.

"Do you forgive me? Silence means yes." he says.

I kept quiet, a smile forming on my face after his long soliloquy.

"Alright," I could imagine him smiling to himself as Changbin started to snicker from the other line, causing him to be shushed by Chan, "you forgive me. Also! Before I forget, I want to tell you something...

(Translation: We're all good now, okay? I'm sorry if I made you stay up late, knowing that you still have exams for tomorrow. I just don't want you to go to sleep sad and with something not-so-good between us. What I want is, when you open your eyes and wake up in the morning, I want you to smile with no worries. Just remember, I won't stop courting you. Even if we grow old, I won't be taken away from you. I love you so much, (Y/N).)

I gasped. Chan knows that I'm not Korean and I grew up in the Philippines, and lately he's been learning Tagalog because he says he wants to learn the basics of the language so that when he comes to my hometown he would be able to communicate with the people there.

But I never knew he would take it seriously.

"I..." I was left speechless.

"So," he says, and I could practically see him smirking, "I bet you didn't expect that."

I giggled. "Shut up. I love you too."

"I love you more."

I'd do anything for Chan to speak Tagalog, literally.
