It has been a week since (Y/N) and Felix met. And it has been five days since Chan left for Korea. The two seldom conversed and exchanged glances, much to the girl's liking and much to Felix's disappointment. He so badly wanted to talk to her and learn more about her to help her get over with what she needed to get over, while (Y/N) didn't want to have to do anything with Felix. They would go on with their lives, with Felix going in and out of the house and staying at the guest room which has been his temporary room during his stay in the household, while (Y/N) would spend her whole day in her room, only going out for bathroom breaks and food.

Sometimes, fate would make way for the two of them and give them a chance to speak to each other without (Y/N) having the thirst to rip Felix's deep vocal chords out. The male would make food for them, if not, order somewhere nice and eat with her. But, even the regular dinner together did not make (Y/N) open up to him.

Until one fateful afternoon.

Classes had ended, and (Y/N) was standing on the sidewalk by the sign of the bus stop while waiting for the bus. Earlier it was a sunny day, with the sun beating down on every person's head, but then when the clock had struck three pm, dark, angry clouds came over and covered the sky, followed by the roaring thunders and streaks of lightning. Later, on that same day, on that same hour when the girl was waiting for the public vehicle to arrive and fetch her, rain poured down heavily, immediately soaking her whole body.

Gasping, (Y/N) tried to shield herself from the rain to no avail. Her clothes were wet and dripping and her laptop would've been as well if it weren't for her waterproof bag. She didn't bring an umbrella since the weather forecast on the news didn't predict about the sudden storm.

I am not trusting the news anchors again.

As she searched desperately for a temporary shelter, an umbrella was held above her head, and she looked up to see a black umbrella shielding her wet body from the rain. She then let her vision trail to the one holding the umbrella, and under her eyelashes she saw Felix, looking effortlessly majestic in his black pullover and faded jeans. If it weren't for the boots he was wearing, he would've pulled the boyfriend look off.

"You're wet," he says. "If we stay here longer, you'll catch a cold. Let's go."

Felix grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to his body before walking to the direction of the house. People were all rushing to either get into their homes or to the nearest shelter, not wanting to get wet by the rain.

As they walked back to the house in a fast pace, (Y/N) couldn't help but look up at the male. She saw his sharp side profile, defined jawline, tall nose, sparkling eyes, honey brown freckles. Even in the slight darkness she could make out his perfect—almost ethereal—features. She felt a small tug in her heart, something that she felt when she first saw Chan, but this time, stronger.

She tore her gaze away from Felix, and what she didn't notice is the growing smile on the male's face.

He had noticed her.
