Fans. What does that word mean?

To normal people, a fan is a person who flips out, squeals, and is sometimes considered crazy when the topic is about their favorite idol.

To other fans, some are like a family that bonds together over their idols who believe that they will find friends within the fandom who share the same interests themselves. In today's world filled with the newest technology and innovation, fans and fandoms also had arisen. In this regard, fans are either considered as friends, while others are seen as enemies.

To the idols, domestic or international, whatever the nationality—fans are precious things they hold close to their hearts. They are the reason they get recognition for their works and talents. They are also the reason why that particular idol is able to do what he/she loves, what he/she is passionate about.

While to my boyfriend, Seo Changbin of Stray Kids, fans—well, they're basically a second family to him. With their unending love and support, they have debuted and reached wherever they are right now. Without the fans, they wouldn't even know when they would debut, or if they would ever debut. And I completely understood his love for the fans.

Even though I understood, it hurt me everytime I would receive negative reactions and harsh criticism whenever I tried to show how much I love them supporting the group. No matter how many times I genuinely loved my boyfriend, they would never listen and just think that I'm just using him for money.

Some acknowledged me and had sent support through my social media accounts, but the ratio was 1:1 000 000—one represents the number of people who would sent me love and approval about me dating Changbin while the one million, well, represents the number of people who, just plain, hate me to the core.

Honestly, it shocked and saddened me at the same time that I had gotten so much hate in just a little amount of time. Some had even pointed out my flaws; things that I'm insecure about.

Of course, I couldn't tell Changbin. How could I when he loves the fans so much, people who recognize and enjoy the music he and the rest of Stray Kids make and help them take a step closer to achieving their dreams of being influential, phenomenal musicians?

Although it hurts me to lie to him, I couldn't think of another solution to the situation. Sure I want to defend myself and tell them all what I wanted to say, but it would involve Changbin—and possibly the rest of the members, and all that would most definitely not work out.

"Love!"

I looked up from my laptop and saw my boyfriend standing by the door in his all-black outfit and an adorable smile on his face.

Removing my headphones, I stood up from the couch and walked over to him, throwing myself onto his chest seeing his arms wide open, inviting me in for a hug.

"Hey, Binnie." I smiled, burying my head in his chest.

"I missed you," he said, kissing the top of my head.

"I missed you too."

We broke apart from the hug and walked over to the couch, with Changbin kicking off his shoes and taking off his top, leaving him shirtless (I didn't mind though).
