It was widely known for a fact that the huge huggers in Stray Kids are Chan, Woojin, Hyunjin and Felix—well, Felix to Changbin to say the least. It was always seen on camera, and most probably off the camera as well. But when Hyunjin got in a relationship, he became more cuddly and clingy than usual, always wanting to have his arms around his significant other.

Not that (Y/N) was complaining, though.

There were times that Hyunjin would just randomly hug her—giving her back hugs when she would be making breakfast for the two of them, pulling her into a tight bear hug when he was tired with practice, the warm hugs he would give her when all the stress of being an idol is getting to him, and when he would wrap his four limbs around her body before going to sleep, securing her in his embrace.

But there were times when (Y/N) would get extra clingy and wanted more cuddles than usual, and Hyunjin was not capable of giving her the affection she needed due to his hectic schedule and stressed out idol life, a stark contrast to his usual self who would drop everything just to give her a hug when she needs it—and well, when she doesn't need it.

Just like today.

"Jinnie," (Y/N) whined, "cuddle me."

Hyunjin sighed as he turned off the music and wiped away the sweat on his forehead with his arm. "I can't, baby. I'm sorry."

"Please?" she asked, showing him her best puppy eyes and wrapping his jacket around her shoulders.

"I'm sweaty and I smell," says Hyunjin and pulls off his shirt, taking a new one from his bag. Today (Y/N) tagged along with him to the company, wanting to accompany her boyfriend while he was practicing solo. "I bet you're tired too. Why don't you take a nap first, then we'll eat outside when you wake up?"

"Nap with me then," she held out her arms in front of him. "I want cuddles."

"You know I can't," Hyunjin sighed and pulled the new shirt over his head until the hem reached down to his waist. "I have other stuff to do."

"Other stuff to do than to hold your girlfriend?" (Y/N) was now doing cute actions to make him give in.

"Yes," he says. "I have to finish practice because Chan hyung will kick my butt if I don't get the choreography right. Minho and Felix are still working on a few dances, and I couldn't let them do all the work."

(Y/N) huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, puffing out her cheeks in fake anger. "Fine. I guess I'll just have to admit that you don't love me anymore."

Hyunjin was about to turn the music back on when he heard the last part of her statement. He stopped in his movements and turned around to look at his pouting girlfriend. He sighed once more when she stood up and grabbed her bag.

"I'm going now," she grumbled. "I guess you don't need my cuddles anymore."

Hyunjin laughed and went up to her, wrapping his arms around her figure and kissing the top of her head repeatedly. "You know I need you. Always and forever."
