With one eyebrow raised, (Y/N) stared at Minho, in an attempt to mock him for his lack of kissing experience. Being his best friend since they were in diapers, she knew all about him, from his dance obsession, to the weirdest habits he acquires. And of course, with this comes along the knowledge about each others' love lives. She knew that he had never been romantically, or even sexually involved with anyone before, but to hear him saying that he needs help with kissing gives her some type of amusement.

Minho, unsure of his emotions, turned a light shade of red as he glanced at his laughing best friend who sat crisscrossed on the grass across him and shoved her shoulder lightly.

"Shut up," he says. "At least I'm not sloven like you."

"I'm sorry," the girl laughs, "it's just so funny to know that you've never been kissed before. Like, come on, Minho. Almost everyone at school lost their first kiss at an early age, and gave away their virginity to some random dude or girl they met at some party. Besides, you are one of the most handsome guys on the campus, who wouldn't want to be kissed by you?"

"That's because I want my first kiss to be special."

(Y/N) snorted, "You seriously sound like a high school girl."

"Shut up."

The girl laughed once more before smiling brightly at her best friend, illuminating the natural sparkle she held in her eyes as the apples of her cheeks rose prominently, emphasizing the beauty of the way the corners of her lips twitched upward in a loving smile.

"Why don't I be your first, then? Surely you won't mind me teaching you how to kiss a girl properly, hm?"

Minho blushed a darker shade of red than before. The thought of him kissing other girls was terrifying, but him kissing his best friend was a different topic. Not only did he not want to mess it all up, he also didn't want his true feelings to show, because he thought it would be the end of his longest friendship with her, and he wouldn't want that. Minho would rather have her as his best friend than have her as his ex best friend.

"Aw, are you shy?" (Y/N) teased.

"No, I'm not. So shut up."

"Just admit it."

"Alright fine," he gave in, "it's just...I don't know what I'm doing so—"

"That's the point, Min. First kisses are usually nerve-wracking and sometimes hard to deal with if you're having wave after wave of anxiety attacks, but you have me. I'll teach you how to do it now, and you'll save yourself the worry." (Y/N) smiled at Minho.

"I'm not worried," he says.

"Then how come every time I ask you about getting a girlfriend, your excuse is, 'Oh, I don't know how to kiss a girl,' which is so embarrassing because it's not manly." she sassed, rolling her eyes and sending him a playful smile to let Minho know that she is only messing with him.

The boy laughed and shook his head, slowly walking up to her.

"Alright, let's get this over with," he says. "I don't think I can cope with you teasing me about this longer."

"Fine," with one last laugh, (Y/N) looked directly into Minho's eyes and walked closer to him until their breaths are gently fanning each others' lips, their eyelids dropping close as the mood in the background blends in with the moment.

(Y/N)'s hands find Minho's and put them on her waist, while her arms snaked around his neck, pulling him closer to her than ever as their lips finally touched.

The two felt electricity surge through every fiber of their beings as their kiss continued. At first it was soft, but when (Y/N)'s hands went to his shoulders, Minho's figure went rigid, until his shoulders softened when her fingertips touched the fabric of his shirt, her hands feeling the muscles underneath.

His lips were hesitant and unsure at first, but then gradually his confidence boosted when (Y/N) softly and unintentionally moaned. Minho smiled into the kiss and tightened his grip on her waist which later moved down to her hips, their lips still not detaching from each other.

The atmosphere turned humid and heavy, but the love and passion is present. Considering the fact that he had never kissed anyone his entire life before, this was more than (Y/N) had expected. His lips felt magical against hers, as if they were crafted especially for her. After a few moments, Minho pulled away, smiling sheepishly at her as his cheeks started to collect pink dust.

They stared into each others' eyes as time seemed to stop somehow, the world revolving around them coming to a temporary halt, and it wasn't until the girl felt his warm breath fanning her nose that she realized the two of them are subconsciously moving in again.

Finally, Minho's lips captured (Y/N)'s once more.

This time, it was harder, more chill and less tense than the first. Minho seemed to have gained more confidence than before, for he had pushed (Y/N) to a nearby tree, her back making in contact with the bark as his hands pinned themselves beside her head, his body weight directly above hers.

However, the pinning-to-the-tree thing didn't last long, for Minho had wrapped his arms around her waist and expertly pulled her to his chest, as if he had done it a million times before.

He pulled away again, this time looking more assured than nervous.

"I think I've got this kissing thing. It's not so hard than I thought it would be."

(Y/N) giggled, her arms still around his neck. "I'm glad to hear that," she smiles up at him, although her heart is sinking on the inside. Now that he knows how to kiss, he was going to let go, and the kiss they shared would be given to someone else.

"(Y/N)?" Minho's voice broke her thoughts and brought her back to reality.

"Yeah?"

"You and I both know I've never kissed anyone my entire life before, but when I kissed you...I don't know. I felt sparks? Chemistry? Something like that? Is that even supposed to happen?"

(Y/N) wanted to laugh at his confusion, Minho looked like a little kid who got lost and has no idea on what to do or where to go, but she was intrigued, and at the same time, had her heart earn high hopes.

"Sparks? Chemistry? What do you mean by that?" she asked.

"I mean...my heart was racing when our lips touched, and I could feel myself blushing. And, uh...forgive me when I say this, but even though we're just friends, all I want to do is kiss you again." he said truthfully.

"Is that a confession, my dear Lee Minho?" she smirked, wiggling her eyebrows. The boy's cheeks reddened.

"Ah, I don't know," he says, his gaze wavering. "They say actions speak louder than words, right?"

"Yeah, but actions alone do not suffice; one may also need words for clarification."

Minho rolled his eyes, and (Y/N) giggled before finding herself trapped once more in his embrace, her lips captured in his perfectly molded ones.

Was this his confession?

She took it as a rightful 'yes'.
