“I brought the headshots today. I thought you would like to see them.”
Thirty-year-old manager Lee Minho told his sister as he pulled out a pink clear book, flipping the pages to show his younger sister the photos she took for a shoot last week. (Y/N) sighed and laid on her pink queen-sized bed, her arms cuddling a white teddy bear she forgot whom it came from as she stared at the book Minho was holding.
“What’s the point of taking headshots if no one’s giving me a job?” she questioned and looked at her brother with pleading eyes. “Minho, do you really think I would be able to make a comeback?”
Being an actress is hard, but being caught up in a drug scandal is harder. Last year (Y/N) was involved with two scandals that stirred up the media so fast like wildfire. One was the allegations of drug abuse wherein she was rumored to be taking certain kinds of stimulants to make her acting more convincing before shooting. And two was her recent breakup with the heir of the PK Motors group that was thought to be connected with the first scandal she was caught up in.
“Of course you will,” Minho closed the clear book and faced his sister, pulling out another book from his briefcase, “even though you have a bad reputation, you’ve still got loyal fans that are waiting patiently for you. And I, along with the others who truly know you are, believe in you. Always.”
(Y/N) smiled sadly at him, “Really? You think so?”
“Yep,” Minho grinned. “Just wait a little more. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get casted as the main character in an international setting, somewhere around Europe.” he then held the book he took out, showing her the cover. (Y/N)’s eyes widened.
“Minho, is this for real?!” she took the clear book and flipped the pages quickly. “Is it a script?!”
“You bet,” his grin only widened, “and it’s written by Kim Woojin. Collab with Lee Felix.”
“A professional civil and divorce lawsuit attorney goes to France for an international case and ends up falling in love with a military judicial officer,” she read the synopsis of the script out loud and screeched happily. “Oh my gosh, I love you Minho! Thank you!”
“So, do you want to know who’s the leading man?” Minho wiggled his eyebrows as they did a little dance for her, a specialty of (Y/N)’s weird but loving brother.
“Yes please.”
“It’s Seo Kang Joon.”
“No way, the Seo Kang Joon?” she was beyond excited. “For real?!”
“For real.”
“AAAAAAAAAAH! I GOTTA GET READY! WHEN’S THE SHOOT?” Seo Kang Joon was her crush celebrity ever since she started her career in the entertainment industry, and had been a dream to work with him. Now that she’s going to be in a drama with him, and as his leading lady, she’s beyond jittery and excited.
