Luke's POV

I'm so damn glad we didn't perform until tomorrow because I was too tired. Spring break was here in a flash and before I knew it Ashton would be graduating. I knew he'd probably stick around but not seeing him at school would be so weird. I couldn't help but think about it even though I tried not to. It was just something on my mind a lot more lately.

I hated planes, so damn much. They are terrifying even with Ashton holding onto my hand, assuring me everything would be fine. When we finally landed we all hurried to baggage claim because we were all excited to finally be in LA, the city where dreams are made. Or broken, but I guess I can't think about that. Michael finally managed to hail us a cab and we all stuffed our instruments in the trunk along with our shared suitcases and all piled in the car. It took us straight to our beach house our mothers had rented us and like the excited teenagers we are, we bolted inside.

Karen and my mom insisted on getting us a house since we are able to stay the entire week and I couldn't be more excited about it. We all raced inside to claim rooms but Ashton and I got stuck in one room, which I didn't really mind considering our issues keeping our hands off each other. I lugged my guitar and our suitcase up the stairs to throw them on our bed. Ashton was at the window staring at the ocean in awe and I couldn't help but smile at him.

"I've missed the ocean." He sighed and I moved to stand behind him with my chin on his shoulder.

"Let's go for a swim." I suggested and Ashton's eyes lit up like the lights of a thousand cities.

"Really?" He squeaked and I let out a laugh.

"Yes! We have all day!" I said and Ashton was already changing into a tank and shorts. I followed suit and grabbed up my phone to follow Ashton down the stairs. Michael was in the kitchen snacking on something when Ash and I got in there.

"Where are you two going?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The beach." Ashton chirped and took off out the door. I gave Michael a shrug and took off after my enthusiastic boyfriend.

The beach behind our house wasn't a public beach so it wasn't crowded thank god. We hustled down the stairs to the sand where we immediately shed our shoes to take off towards the water with Ashton beating me. He threw his arms in the air with a yell as the warm saltwater washed over his legs. I did the same and Ashton pulled me into him to to press a sloppy kiss to my cheek. I let out a chuckle when he did and Ashton giggled loudly.

We spent so much time in the water and just walking along the sand hand in hand until the sub started to set. A mixture of orange and purple cast across the sky in front of us and it was nearly as beautiful as my boyfriend next to me. His face was graced with a deep smile along with his shining hazel eyes.

"I can't believe we are here!" He yelled up to the sky and laid back against the sand with his hands resting behind his head.

"I can't believe we are playing at the Forum tomorrow." I sighed and Ashton nodded in agreement.

"Maybe one day it will be our own concert we play there." He added.

"Talk about dreaming." I chuckled humorlessly.

"Luke Hemmings you will eat those words when millions of girls are screaming your name." Ashton teased and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I bet they will like you better because of your amazing biceps." I joked squeezing Ashton's arms.

"Always jealous Lukey." He giggled and I rolled my eyes at him.

"You really think we could be famous?" I asked after a few minutes of silence and Ashton rolled his head to the side to look at me with wide eyes.
