I was writing an article when I got a line call from an unknown number so I answer
Jughead- who is this ?
Gladys- it's your mom
Jughead- m-mom Why are you calling me
Gladys- I wanted you to forgive me for leaving you, I heard you have a family, I'm coming to visit after Christmas
Jughead-NO YOU CAN JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE, YOU CANT JUST WALTZ BACK IN MY LIFE LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED
I hear everyone either go upstairs or outside so they can't hear me
Gladys-lower your voice Forsythe and you can't keep in pushing me away
Jughead- it's jughead but how would you know that oh yea because you left me with a drunken father when I was just a kid and you took my sister with you so I don't know how dad would react if he heard you were back and I definitely wouldn't appreciate it if you turned up here because I a stunning girlfriend and two beautiful daughters who I don't think would want to meet you EVER
Gladys- jughead I'm sorry but I had to leave and I know you don't want to see me but please I'm begging you let me come and see what you grew up to be and I want to see those grandkids of yours
Jughead- fine you can come but I want answers right here right now
Gladys- fine you deserve the truth... I had to leave because Penny was threatening us, she said if I didn't leave you alone with your father she would come and kill us all and I couldn't risk that so I left, I regret it ever day but I would of regretted it even more if we all ended up dead
Jughead- u-I-wha- I have no idea what to say
Gladys- please forgive me
Jughead- mom.. I forgive you and thank you for telling me the truth.. you can come when ever you want and you could even stay in riverdale because Penny is gone
Gladys- Thank you jughead and me and jellybean might consider moving but what do you mean by Penny is gone
Gladys- oh she kidnapped Juliet twice and we put her and Malachi in jail for a long time
Gladys- oh wow that's great that she is gone but who is Juliet?
Jughead- Juliet is my five year old daughter she is actually the sweetest but she has been acting up lately I also have a week old daughter called Brooklyn who basically just screams all night
Gladys- aww I can't wait to meet them
Jughead- mom are you seriously crying
Gladys- yes I am I'm proud of you
.....talking for a few more minutes..
Jughead- bye mom better get going now
Gladys- bye son
** end of call**
(Everyone is away ice skating now)
Me and my mom are finally talking again. I'm making a sandwich when Betty comes down looking all cheery and bright
"Who were you talking to, it was pretty heated but then it quieted down a bit?" Betty says as she sits down
I tell her everything about my mom
"So yea and she is coming over sometime after Christmas" I say
"Babe that is so good, I'm so happy for you" Betty jumps up and kisses me but in the middle everyone walks in
"Ewww mommy daddy stop" Juliet says and covers her eyes
"Well welcome back guys, did you have fun?" Betty asks
"Yep, we fell a couple times but no crying if you don't count Brooklyn" fangs says
"Oh no was she really moody today" batty says as they all come over
"No she only screamed once but sweets pea was the babysitter today, even watch this video" Cheryl says and fangs shows the video montage that he took of sweetpea calming down Brooklyn, putting Juliet's shoes on, pushing the stroller with one hand and the other holding Juliet's hand, trying to strap them in the car
"Wow sweets you really were the dad of the day" I say chuckling
"I enjoyed it but it really does make you hungry, let's order dominos pizza" sweet pea replied and we all laughed and ordered pizza
