(40) christmas eve- part 3

We all sat down and ate pizza but Brooklyn was taking a nap
"Mommy, where do babies come from?" Juliet asked which made jughead choke on his drink and make everyone giggle slightly
"That's a chat for another day and certainly not when we are eating" I say
"Well changing the subject, juls what do you want Santa at bring you?" Toni asked
" well in our house, mommy and daddy give you the important and more expensive stuff and then Santa brings toys and little things, isn't that right Juliet?" Jughead says
"Yep because mom and dad have to "work" for the money" Juliet said air quoting when she said work
"Yea they do work hard but what do you want" Cheryl asked
"I want some books,Lego sets, colouring books, makeup but the things I want most are a serpent jacket and a pet" Juliet says taking a massive bite out of her pizza
"Slow down on the pizza juls" I say
"Wait hold up, you want a pet?" Sweet pea asks
"Yep I want a puppy" Juliet answers
"Well we have to wait and see" fangs says
*brooklyn starts to cry*
"Well no need for a baby monitor she is loud enough to hear anyway" jughead says rolling his eyes
"Better go get her, she is probably just wanting attention" I say and head up to her nursery. I see her waving her legs in the air and screaming her head off
"Hey no no, there's no need for this noise,you want to come downstairs and see everyone" she lays her head on my shoulder and calms down. I walk into the kitchen and everyone is done their pizza
"Can someone hold her wile I clean up?" I say
"Oo I will!" Sweetpea is the first one to put his hand up
"Even I don't put my hand up in school so why you doing it here" Juliet says
"Juls us girls will never understand boys, now you go play with your dad and uncles wile me and Toni help your mom okay" Cheryl says asks everyone leaves to go to the living room
"They are just so precious" Toni sighs
"Yep they are, are you and Cheryl planning on having kids?" I ask
"Well.. we have been looking for some adoption sites because we don't really want  a newborn we are looking at ages around 2-3" Toni says
"Babies are cute but yea I agree with the ages 2-3 because baby brooke is hard work like she cries and cries" I say
"But you have us to help you through it" Cheryl says
{they all go to sleep but Betty and jug set out all the presents}
