The pet store. The most random, but cutest shop ever. Everytime I walked in, I couldn't help but squeal. I loved animals. And that's why, over the summer, I would volunteer to help out. I'd even get paid. But, last Winter, I moved to Sydney, Australia. And within that move I hadn't had time to search for any pet shops. Well, until spring came at least. That when I found one.

I walked inside, feeling the cool air hit my face. I smiled as I walked over to the front desk.

"Yes. May I help you find something?" A rather older lady at the desk asked me, looking up at me, to ting her glasses down.

"Hey. I'm Y/N L/N and I was wondering if I could help out around here? Like, come in some days of the summer and help out with the animals and anything really?" I asked her, politely.

She smiled. "Well. Of course! That would actually be really kind of you to help out around here." She said.

"Great! Where should I start first?" I asked her. She nodded, handing me a list. I read it, and got to work with the animals. My first task were to comb the cats and so I did. It was rather easy, and as I did. I couldn't help but squeal. Like come on. Cats are too cute! I got to work on the other stuff, knowing I'd have more squeals as I went on.

I was now only my close to last task, feeding the birds. As I was, I heard the bell above the door, ring. I was looking at who it was and my eyes widened at the sight. The people who had just walked in, was the one and only Calum Hood... Along with his sister and mother.

I looked away quickly before he saw me staring. I went back to feeding the birds, smiling as I felt there tiny beak's on my hand. I giggled a bit. I looked back over at Calum and he was looking at me. I didn't want to make a fool out of myself so I just smiled at him. He smiled in return.

"Hey... Hey Mom? Mom! Mommy!" He exclaimed to him mother. His mother looked at him, confused.

"Yes, Calum?" She asked him, confusement and curiosity written all over her face.

"I want that one!" He said, pointing towards me. His mother and sister looked straight at me. I knew my face was red. I KNEW my face was red.

"Calum! Grow up. Look at the poor girl. You made her red!" Mali said, rolling her eyes at Calum. She walked over to me, laughing. "Look. I'm sorry for my brother saying that. He can be an...well...I wouldn't say idiot. But let's turn towards that." She smiled.

I laughed. "He doesn't seem that bad. It kinda made my day happier." I smiled back at her.

"I'm Mali." She said, reaching out her hand to shake mine.

I shook it. "Y/N. And yeah I know your name. I mean, yeah..I kinda do. But only because-" She cut me off.

"A fan of my brothers? Yeah. I could tell a bit." She smiled, shrugging. Calum emerged out of nowhere.

"Ooh. We got a member of the 5sosfam? Or most certainly the Calum Crew?" He asked me and Mali.

"Calum...that's so cringey. No one calls your fangirls, the Calum Crew." Mali told him, making a face.

He laughed. "We do now. And who do I owe the pleasure of meeting you?" He asked me, smiling genuinely.

"Oh come on, Calum. I know you aren't really THAT much of a romantic. I've been part of the fandom since you guys did that Chris Brown song." I laughed.

"Damn it! Ok, ya got me. Anyways, you want me to sign anything? Take a picture?" He asked me.

"No. Just having a conversation with you is pretty cool." I told him, smiling.

"Really? Nothing? Ok, hand me your phone. I want to take a picture." He said. I handed him my phone. "Dayum...the new iPhone? Well...anyways, it needs face recognition." He told me. I laughed and smiled at the phone. Since it was the face I used to sign in. I handed it back to Calum and he put it on selfie view. Mali and I stood by the bird cages and he did some stupid ass face. He took a few more.

"Mali! Come here! I need you for something!" Their mother yelled. Mali nodded and hugged me.

"It was so good to meet you. See you around hopefully." I laughed and replied back to her.

"You too. Have a great day." I told her. She walked away and I felt someone's lips on my cheek. I smiled and saw it was Calum, taking a photo of us as he did. Once he pulled away, he clicked on a few things and I saw typing.

"What on Earth are you doing?" I asked him.

"Just making a few things....and send!" He said. That's when his mother called him. "Well. That's my call. I'll definitely be seeing you soon..." He said.

"Y/N. My name is Y/N." I answered.

"Well, I'll see you around, Y/N." He said. He handed me my phone. As he walked away I could hear him make out a few things. "Y/N...that's a beautiful name." I smiled as I finished the list.

I headed out of the store and started making my way to a park. Well, more of a walking park than a playground park. It was also connected to a beach which was pretty cool. I sat there for a few before I thought of what Calum might have done in my phone. I pulled it out and smiled at what I saw.

Calum put the photo of him kissing my cheek as the background. I also got a new text from.... CDizzle..?

I opened it and I read a huge ass paragraph.

Hey! It's Calum. So I wasn't lying when I said I wanted you. I actually do...so..yeah. Would you like to go out sometime? Yeah, I'm kind of awkward at this kind of stuff. My longest fucking relationship has been 3 months. But um pretty sure you knew that. You've been a fan for a while. And...I'd love to date a fan! You don't seem that insane over us, but you do seem to like us. I mean..especially me...not even a competition. But if one of the guys tries hitting on you I am NOT afraid to beat their dicks up! So what do you say? Pic ya up at 8 tomorrow?

I laughed before I started texting back. Of course I'd date Calum. And hopefully, this relationship was longer than 3 months.

Aye! Another chapter! Easier done than said! Idk. This chapter came to my idea after I read some things to do when bored. And trust me, walking into a pet shop with my mom and telling a hot employee i want that one is now on my bucket list. But...I'll probably never do it...because...just...no. That's embarrassing. And he'd probably have a girlfriend. So, I don't want an angry girlfriend running after me. That's literally the WORST thing to be chased after. Love ya guys!
