Lol. I know, I know, I know. Today is not Christmas! It's not  mother's day anymore either! But I assure you, there will be a mother's day chapter! Just after this! I hope ye enjoy!

I woke up with the sound of my phone's alarm. I closed my eyes gently, wanting to go back to sleep. I only woke up when I remembered a thought. I was supposed to be getting my bags together to get to the flight. We all were. Hopefully the boys were up, anyways. We we're supposed to be heading back to Sydney this early morning. From LA.

I got up quickly, taking a literal 10 minute shower and stepping out. I quickly dried myself off, making way to my clothes as I was brushing my teeth. I don't know why I was so rushed, I had so much time. But I guess it was because the boys sometimes were too slow, and we had all missed countless of many flights because of these kind of things.

I packed my bags real quick and brushed my hair. I put on some light makeup including mascara, lipstick, and some un-noticeable blush. I sighed and grabbed my phone and like, 3 chargers. I knew that I would lose one in my trip so why not bring 3? I put in 3 pairs of shoes and started out my door. I got in my car and started it up, face timing Ashton. The 3 of them stayed at a hotel close to my house last night. I told them they could have stayed with me, but they decided they didn't want it to go crazy so they stayed at a hotel.

"Hey! Ash. Uhm. You guys ready?" I asked. Ashton looked around, maybe at the guys before nodding his head.

"We had all our bags packed last night! We're in the lobby, waiting for you to pull up. Then we're heading to the airport, correct?" He asked. I nodded before I caught sight of the hotel. I pulled in.

"Correct. Anyways, I'm here. You guys can put your stuff in the back and just, climb in."I told him. The first person I saw out the door was Calum. Of course. He was the fastest and more agile. Then came Luke. With his excitement and energy, I was expecting it. Next of course, Ashton. Ashton had a worried look on his face. Probably hoping that the 2 excited and fast boys ahead of him wouldn't fall. He was speed walking. And last to walk out, was Michael. Michael need really seemed happy around these times of years. On holidays, I mean. He always seemed sadder than usual.

I promised myself that this Christmas he'd be happy. And happy he shall be. I opened the trunk for them and they set their stuff down. "I call shotgun!" Calum yelled. Somehow, Michael beat him to it. He stuck his tongue out at Cal and smiled at me. I laughed at his humor.

I pulled away once everyone was in the car. We started talking excitedly about what we were going to do in Australia. What our families were going to do with us. Literally everything.

I looked at Michael. Everyone was talking but him. I wanted to start a conversation with him. But I felt as if that would be the wrong thing to do. I sighed and put my eyes back on the road. Hopefully sometime on this holiday, Michael would be happy.

We had been on this plane for 13 hours. It wasn't a very boring ride though. I sat next to Calum and Ashton, so I got lucky. I mean, I would have been lucky no matter who sat next to me. But it just happened to be these 2, so I got a laugh or 550. Luke and Michael sat in the aisle across from us, so we were all technically paired together in this.

I let out my last laugh when we landed. Michael tried to get his phone back, so he jumped in our seat and took it from Calum. He laughed, laying on the floor, head on my lap. I smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Get up off me you colorful boy. I need to get my stuff." I told him. We all got up, and made our way out of the plane and into the Australian Airport. Our families were supposed to be here, waiting for us. We grabbed our luggage and we finally got out of security when I heard a noise behind me.

"Luke!" I saw Liz immediately. She hug attacked him and I almost laughed. But I didn't. And I don't know why. I smiled and I saw my mom trailing behind her.

I smiled and hugged her. She hugged back and she pulled away, smiling. "Oh! I missed you so much." She said. I laughed and hugged her again real quick.

"I missed you too! Oh my gosh. But, I am so happy to be back here. With the family. And the dogs. Oh, and who could forget Whiskey." I told her. She laughed. There were 3 pets in our household. A husky named Blueball. He for some reason, always had this blue spot on his back, so mom named him Blueball. A German Shepard named Soar. The first time we got her, she tried to fly off our swimming pool. So I of course, named her Soar. And our cat, named North. Michael got her for me when we were in our early teens. He gave her to me for my birthday. I thought it was very kind of him.

I smiled as soon as I heard an almost squeaky voice. "Austria!" I yelled. I saw the small girl, went to my knees, and hugged her. She hugged back. She was my little cousin. 10 years old. "Oh my gosh! Look how big you've gotten!" I told her. She laughed and nodded.

"I'm 3 ft 12!" She said excitedly. I smiled and hugged her again. "Oh my gosh! I missed you! I missed you, I missed you!" I said. I set down my bags and lifted her in the air. She giggled severely and I laughed as well. I smiled and caught sight of Michael. He was sitting down. I saw Cal with his family, Luke with his, and Ashton with his as well. But Michael's was nowhere to be seen. I frowned and smiled again. I set her down.

"Can you and my mother go to the car, I'll meet you right there!" I told her. I kissed her forehead and she headed off with Mom. I smiled and headed over to Michael. "Hey. What's up?" I asked him. He looked over and smiled. He shrugged.

"Nothing much. Just, resting my legs. Sitting in the same position during the flight got them cramped. I'm just stretching them out a bit before I leave. I smiled and nodded. I sat down next to him.

"So wait. Where's your parents? Your family?" I asked. He shrugged and sighed. He looked around a bit before answering.

"My mum and dad told me that they wanted to meet me at the house. We'd spend time together there." He said. I nodded and frowned. I hugged him as he hugged back. I heard him laugh a bit.

"Well, I'll see you Michael." I said. He nodded and I got up, making way to where my Mom was.

We had just baked a cake and finished wrapping presents.. And let me tell you, we did a good job. It looked amazing honestly. I loved the designs. I smiled and washed my hands. I was about to check my phone when my mom called me. I looked at her as soon as we

"Kaya, go ahead and take a piece of cake if you want. I'm going to head off to bed. It's been an exhausting day. And I believe it's time for me to settle down. I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning, and neither will the rest. Good night my sweet." She kissed my head lightly before she exited out.

I looked at the cake we made and smiled. I walked over to it and cut a piece. I was about to dig in when I had a thought. I smiled slightly and wrapped it in tin foil. I grabbed a fork and headed out of the house, heading down the street. I smiled, catching sight of Michael's house. I went up to the door, and knocked. I heard excited rustling and the sound of footsteps.

"Mum!? Dad!?" I saw Michael say as he opened the door. His eyes widened slightly before  went to a sad expression. He qhickly hanged it and looked down at my hands. He lifted an eyebrow and pointed at it. I smiled and laughed.

"Yep. That's for you." I told him. A huge smile went to his face and he reached out for it. I pulled it away. "Nuh-uh." Not until you tell me what's going on." I told him. He looked around before sighing, looking down.

"Do you know why I was so down today?" He asked. I shook my head, no. "It's because my parents have never been here with me on holidays. Maybe when I was younger. Buy never as I got older. When I'd wake, no one would be here. That's why I didn't want you ever coming over on holidays. I didn't want you to see how lonely I was." He said.

My eyes widened as I saw a tear slip down his cheek. His lip quivered slightly before he rubbed his now runny nose. I frowned and thought a moment before my face lit up. "Well no more will you have to be lonely!" I told him. He looked at me, confused. "You'll be spending Christmas with my family." I told him. His eyes widened.

"Kaya, no. I can't. Your family isn't my family by blood. I can't take the offer." He said. I smiled and soon my head.

"I don't care, Clifford. You're my best friend. I don't want you alone." I told him. He smiled slightly before he hugged me. I hugged back and laid my head his shoulder.
