~Shannon's POV~

My four brothers started chasing each other around the house in a crazy manner. At first it being that Michael, the  second oldest sibling of the quadruples, had the gaming controller for too long. Than it was because Ashton, the oldest, as well as my twin brother, was tackling the boys. And soon enough they were all tackling each other. It turned manic.

The youngest was Luke. He was 6. Than came Calum who was 10. Michael was 12. And than came Ashton and I in the lead at 13. Turning 14, March 16th. Ashton was the older twin but that didn't matter. Useless information.

The wonderful people who birthed us included Larene Hemirnhood and Darvy Hemirnhood. I know. Very common names right? You've heard them a thousand times before!

Currently they were all chasing and tackling each other about who was the better brother to me. About who I favored most. And honestly, I loved my brothers as equal. There wasn't any trait I loved better than the other. And they could all be annoying at times as well. None were better than the other. But I guess they thought so.

"No! Y/NN loves me more!" Calum
yelled to Michael, kicking him with his soccer ball. Michael dodged it, making it hit Ashton in the face. Ash clutched his face with a hard groan.

"Agh! No you idiots! She loves me more!" He said, still and continuing to clutch the side of his face.

"Not with a face like that she doesn't!" Michael chuckled.

"You little..." Ashton said before he tackled his brother to the ground.

Luke began to hit Calum in the face. Scratching and smacking all over the place, Luke was at a role for speed. Chanting the words, "Y/NN loves me more!"

I sat peacefully in the middle of it all. I could meditate if I wanted to. They seemed to just fight everywhere that wasn't where I was at. Occasionally they'd accidentally hit something my way and apologize, but that was it.

My eyes traced a random boy of the 4. They were all being loud and obnoxious, but I still had to deal with it. I was the only girl of five. There was one of me and four of them. It's not like they'd each take a body part of mine and share it out to each other in equal.

It wasn't until someone tackled Luke until my parents started making a huge deal about it. I closed my eyes in annoyance. I took a breath and opened them up.

"But Michael started it!"

"Yeah! Why are we getting in trouble! He wouldn't give us the controller in the first place!"

"Yeah! And than Calum told us that Shannon didn't love us!"

I guess that quote reminded t he m of what they were fighting for because in a flash they all ran over to me, words being jumbled all over the place as they were screaming over each other.

"You love me right?!"

"Shannon I'm your favorite right?!"

"Shut up Michael! She loves me more!"

I could t even speak with the amount of screaming that came over the boys coming at me. My parents were speechless as well. They didn't even know what to do.

"Boys I love you all equally! There's nobody here I love more than t he other." I told them. That didn't seem to put them at ease. They still screamed over each other.

In a flash to make them shush, I said the first name that popped up in my head. And the name was Ashton. Ashton because he was my twin. I knew  him more than anyone else here. I mean, we were in the womb together.

A loud excited yell cane from Ash. He came over and hugged me. I hugged him back but looked over at the four other boys behind his shoulder. I glanced at each of them.

I could see the tears forming in Luke's eyes. Not because of the tackle. No. But because he thought I didn't love him now. And it wouldn't be long before Michael and Calum were joining him in the waterworks.

Calum looked down sadly before he slowly made his way into his and Michael's bedroom. Michael followed closely behind. You could hear sniffling from him.

Luke stayed there for a second. Tears forming in his eyes. His lip started to quiver before he ran up into his room.

I felt terrible. My heart was literally broken. I had hurt my brothers and now they probably thought I didn't love them. Ash looked over at me. A small frown covering his face. I could tell he felt terrible as well.

My parents called us Psychics as we could feel each other's pain. If one of us were sad or angry, the other one could feel it. No matter how far away we were. We'd be able to tell. It was a gift, if that's what I could call it.

Ashton looked up the stairs. We both looked at each other and nodded. We both ran up the stairs. We didn't exactly have a plan but in someway shape or form I'd make it up to them. I stood in t he middle of their bedrooms. Luke's was across from Michael's and Calum's. Luke was clutching his giant teddy bear. Michael had headphones on his ears and Calum was throwing a baseball at the wall. All seeming to have tear stained cheeks. But as soon as they all saw me, they hid their faces.

"Boys. I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything back there. I only said Ashton's name because I was pressured to. I love you all as equals. You all have traits I adore. It's just that there's one of me, and four of you. You guys have to learn that I can't only love one. It wouldn't be fair." I spoke with determination in my voice.

Before I knew it, the three boys were crowded around me. All hugging me. Ashton even joined in on it. I wrapped my arms around the quadruples. This is where I was meant to be, and I'm glad I had these four boys with me every step of the way.
