Her Tweets (Luke Hemmings)

Heads up. This'll take place back when Liz would tweet funny things about Luke. Ah, the good ole days XD there will be 2 parts to this, this part, and a 2018-2019 part! Enjoy!

Luke and I laughed as he was talking about stupid stuff the guys did on tour. We had been best friends for what seemed like forever. And forever it may have been. All of a sudden, our phones made the Twitter sound and we checked on who tweeted. When his face went pale and shocked, was when I became rather curious.

"Luke. What is it? What happened?" I asked him, putting a hand on his shoulder. His blue eyes lifted off of the screen and he made a slight smile.

"Oh! N-nothing. Just, don't check the Tweet. It's not important. Just ignore it." He told me, putting down his phone. "Let's just, you know...carry on with the conversation!" He said quickly.

"Well...I mean...ok. But are you sure it's not important? You're pale and stuttering." I told him. He nodded. I shrugged before we continued with our conversation. That is, until he went to use the bathroom. And that's...when I decided to check the Tweet.

It was from Liz and I was now even more curious on what she posted. I clicked on the notifications nd it automatically brought me to her Twitter page. And that's when I saw it. Her recent Twitter post. I started laughing as I read it.

"@Luke5SOS Sweetie, do you remember when we went to the dentist and you were so scared you did a poopoo in your panties?" It read. I couldn't help but reply.

"@lizhem65 XD. He did that? But, why didn't he tell me? We've been best friends for what has seemed like forever! How did I not know about this to be exact?" I tweeted to her page as I literally got an instant reply.

"@KayaWaters easy questions get an easy answer. Long story short, he was really embarrassed and he though it would ruin his little, "reputation" with you." I read.

Luke came back into the room and saw me on the phone. His eyes widened. "Kaya...what are you reading?" He asked. I laughed.

"You crapped your pants at the dentist's?" I asked him. I giggled and his face turned pale again. I continued giggling and he just face palmed, sitting on the bed.

(A few days later)

I was chilling at home and I just finished putting some cookies in the oven when my phone Twitter notification went off. I quickly washed and dried my hands before picking up my phone.

"Another tweet from Liz I see." I mumbled to myself as I clicked on the notification. I bit my lip, reading the tweet she sent.

"This evening I took Luke's phone and did my routinely check through his search history, I'll be having words tomorrow."

I took a look at the screenshot along with it and saw a circled Google Search that read, "Why is my mom so controlling?" I immediately laughed and called Luke.

He picked up. "Hello!" He said.

"Dude, you seriously looked up, Why is my mom so controlling?" I asked. I could see his face turning pale.

"But it's true! She's controlling! She takes my phone and looks at my search history! Yeah, sure sounds controlling to me." He said. I laughed.

"Man dude, I love your mother. She's so funny." I told him. I could hear him face palm on the other line.

(Literally 3 hours later)

I was talking with Liz and it seemed as if she was paying more attention on her phone than the conversation. That's when all of a sudden, my phone got so many Twitter notifications. I checked and I had private DMs, people @ting me. And another Tweet from Liz. I clicked on the tweet as I read it.

"Very fun and successful day with @KayaWaters :) we need to do stuff like this more often!" I smiled as I looked at her. She returned it. That's when Luke came in the room.

"Oh, K-Kaya. Hi! Uhm...mom, can I speak to you..privately?" He asked her. She nodded before looking at me.

"Luke recently started his man period and he doesn't know how to control it." She joked. Luke's face turned pale again.

"Mom! Stop joking around! I need you...now." He said. She sighed, nodding and walking into a back room with him. I sat on the couch, looking around before I got a notification from Twitter. Again, from Liz.

"@AnaciaBrinley please stop sending my son nudes.

He does not appreciate your ***** ******, as well as he's been too busy lately thinking about telling an important someone to him something."

I became curious on to who this important someone was. He never talked to me about them. And we told each other everything. It kind of made my heart break though. It was probably a girl, who he loved. A girl that wasn't me.

Liz and Luke came back out and I looked up. Luke sat next to me, as well as Liz. I looked at the 2 of them and Luke hugged me all of a sudden. I hugged him back of course.

(A week later)

It was about 7-8 and the sun was going down. I was of course, still up and checking Twitter when I heard my doorbell ring. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. Who would come at this hour?

I walked over to my door and opened it. It revealed Luke. But not only was it just Luke. He had his guitar and started strumming a familiar Melody.

"I dedicate this song to you, the one who ever sees the truth, That I can take your hurt, heartbreak girl. Hold you tight straight through the day light, I'm right here, when you gonna realize, that I'm your cure, Heartbreak girl." He sang. My heart was literally skipping beats my now.

He swung his guitar behind his back and grabbed something off the ground. Roses. My eyes widened and he cleared his throat. "Kaya Alira Waters. I have loved you for what has seemed like forever. I wrote that song for you actually. So...what do you say anyways...will you be my heartbreak girl?" He stuttered.

I took the roses from him before tackling him in a hug. He smiled and wrapped his arms around my torso. I stopped hugging him. "Yes Luke. I will." I told him. He kissed my cheek and I let him inside.

As we were making popcorn, I heard my phone make a Twitter noise. I looked at Luke and we checked out notifications, of course from Liz. Luke groaned and I clicked on it. I put a hand to my heart as I read the Tweet.

"Luke finally told @KayaWaters he loved her. For years he's been planning this and she says yes. I'm so happy. I'm so proud of my son." I read it. But underneath the Tweet, were pictures of us hugging and when Luke kissed my cheek. I smiled before looking up at Luke.

"It's not bad at all Luke. It's not bad at all." I told him before the smoke alarm went off.
