The bell, signaling class was over, rang. Mrs. Witter was screaming over the happiness if the hurried teenagers, grabbing their stuff to get out of the room in a hurried rush.

I grabbed my back and went to my locker. I talked to Layla a few, telling her my cousin was picking me up. I was outside when Calum ran after me. "Hey, hy, hay!" He said, lightly touching my shoulder. I looked up at him.

"Mhm?" I asked him. The height different between the boy of us wasn't much, but he was definitely a couple lot of inches taller than I was. He stayed silent for a second before he laughed slightly.

"Sorry Kaya. I forgot your name for a second." He said. He laughed again, his hand still lightly gripped onto my shoulder. I looked at him a few more seconds before laughing myself.

"As you could tell. It's just Kaya. Kaya Waters!" I told him. A small smile hit his face.

"It still doesn't sound as punk rock as Calum does. But, I guess it'll do." He replied. I laughed, looking down.

"You believe that you're....punk rock?" I asked him. I smiled at him. What he said was pretty funny to be honest. Punk rock was the definition of Danni's favorite band, My Chemical Romance. At least to him, it was.

"Yeah. What's wrong with believing I'm a Punk Rock?" He asked. I shrugged. A bigger smile his his fave. "No. I wanna know. What makes you think I'm not, or never will be punk rock?" He asked me.

"What makes you think that I'm going to tell you my own opinions?" I asked him. He bit his lip again, glancing to the left. I looked where his eyes gazed upon. I saw my cousin, who was smiling just like a kid who got handed 15 different breeds of puppies.

"I'll talk to you later. It was nice seeing you today, Kaya! Have a nice day." Calum said. He started his way off, looking back at me. I smiled in his direction until he turned around the corner.

"Kaya. If I may ask, was that that Calum guy you always talk about?" She asked. I looked straight at her. I slowly nodded.

"Yes. That was Calum." I told her. She raised her eyebrow, smirking at he slightest. "He's the reject of the school." I finished off. She nodded before getting in the car, putting her hands on the wheel.

"Well, is this Reject friend of yours, Calum, a nice dude?" She asked me. I smiled a bit before lying my head on the window, staring out at the houses and trees we passed by.

"Oh. My. Gosh." She said. I lifted my head off the glass, looking at her. "Don't tell me you have a crush on Me. No Rules Attached Bad Boy." She said. I just laughed. I felt a tint of red hitting my face.

"And...what if I did? Would you kill me?" I asked her. She smirked over at me. She put a hand on my shoulder.

"He definitely likes you back. A reject doesn't let you in, OR get that close to you. If you didn't notice, Calum was touching your shoulder. And he was awfully close to you." She said. I laughed. "Wait. Is that him?" She asked, pointing to the brown haired kid. I opened my window.

"Hey Calum. Funny to meet you over here." I said. His brown eyes looked over at me, a joy in hem. He smiled.

"The world can't keep us apart today." He said. I shook my head. I opened the car door and got out. Within that moment, that was the exact time my cousin drove away, causing me to jump into Calum from the sudden jolt of the car. She turned down the street and Calum laughed.

"Well, looks like she abandoned you." He said. I laughed lightly, and nodded. "Wanna come to mine?" I asked. I looked at him, confused. "My house. It looks like it's going to rain soon, anyways." He said, pointing at the sky. At that exact moment, it started raining. I laughed.

I ran out more and in the middle of the street. I spun a bit before making a small laugh. "Isn't this amazing?" I asked Cal. He half smirked, half smiled. He shrugged a bit.

"What's your definition of amazing, Miss. Oh So Happy?" He asked. I shrugged, smiling. I grabbed the both of his hands and left him out towards where the rain hit the most.

"My definition of amazing is literally having fun. Wanna try?" I asked him, still Lea him towards the rain. I let go of him when we were out more, where the rain hit us most.

He stood there, looking around. Getting soaking wet. I bit my lip. He looked like he had no idea what to do. I smirked and splashed a puddle on him. His eyes widened and he looked at me. I splashed another one at him.

"You're gonna pay for that." He replied, splashing me with one. I gasped and splashed him once more. It went back and forth like thay for a bit before I put my hands up within my own defense.

"Ok. Ok, ok, ok, ok. You win. You win." I told him. He smiled and fist bumped the air in happiness. He spun around in a circle brought from the excitement of winning against me. Or so, that's what I thought it was. He laughed and looked up at the rainy sky.

"You seem happy." I told him, stepping closer to him. He smiled and shrugged.

"I mean, there is something about this that I don't quite get." He said, looking straight at me. I nodded and looked up at him. "When I came to this school a couple weeks ago, I didn't have a care in the world for anyone. I hardly even looked at anyone. But when I saw you for the first time and in Layla's group, sitting together, I couldn't help but want to smile. You make me want to smile. And I don't know the thing about you that makes me want to. You're different from the rest. In the best way possible." He said. I looked down, smiling. I felt his hand on my face.

"And I thank you." He finished. He walked over to me and pulled me closer to his torso. His lips touched mine with a pleasant passion which I couldn't help but give back. We pulled away, foreheads touching. "I love you." He mumbled. I smiled and looked down.

"I love you too." I told him. That day, I finally got my dream to be kissed in the rain.
