~Kaya's POV~

I was driving back from my best friends, and  triplet brother, David's house. My other triplet, Daniel, was with me..cleaning up David's house. David recently passed away, making it hard on Daniel and I. David, Daniel, and I were really close growing up. Well, of course, we were triplets so...yeah. We were close. The family trio as everyone called us. But sad thing was, I only found this out today, when Daniel invited me over to the house. I found out David died 2 days ago.

It was rather heartbreaking the way he died. David died saving his daughter, my niece named Cherry, from a fire at the birthday party she was at. Of course Cherry lived, but sadly...her father didn't. And I was really messed up because of it. But who was even more messed up, was Danny. Poor Danny was so messed up. He loved his brother and I more than our other sisters. As I was there, he was crying every second. I couldn't help but hug him and cry as well.

I pulled into the driveway, seeing that Calum wasn't here yet. I smiled for a few seconds. I wouldn't want my fiance to see my puffy red eyes and tear stained face anyways. From the mirror I saw mascara down my face. I sighed and stopped the car in the driveway. I closed my eyes for a second before getting up out of the car and into the door on the inside of the garage, leading to the house.

I walked down the hallway, before seeing the large living room, in front of me. The kitchen was on the other side. I too off my jacket, hanging it in the closet before heading straight to the kitchen to wash my face off. Beholding the reflection in the sink, I saw I was still crying. This only made me cry more. I crossed my arms on the counter near the sink and hid my face in my arms, crying harder than I ever had before.

Who knew I would ever lose one of my triplet brothers to a fire? And he was so young. Only 22. As Daniel and I both were. I didn't know Calum had come home until I heard him say my name.

"Kaya? Oh my gosh!" I heard him drop something lightly and come running up to me. He wrapped his arms around my torso. After a few seconds, I turned around, breaking down into Calum's chest. His grip tightened so I wouldn't fall. One of his hands started running down from my hair, trying to calm me down. "What's wrong? What happened?" He asked.

"He's gone! David's gone.." I cried. Calum didn't say anything for a moment before he sighed. He hugged me and tighter and kissed my head. "I want him back..." I mumbled into his chest. He nodded.

"I know...I know.. but he's in a better place now. He's happy. He's with your grandma. Cracking her up with his jokes. He's hanging out with the fam. He's having fun. And he's waiting for you Kaya. You, Danny, Cherry, Zara, me." He'll be waiting for us." Calum assured. I smiled a bit. He leaned down to my height, cupping my face.

"Now chin up babygirl. It'll all be ok in the end. You still have Danny, your mom, dad, two sisters, your niece, your sister in-law. You still have me. It'll brighten up babygirl. I promise." He said. I laughed a bit. "That's the laugh I know." He kissed my lips for a long period of time. He pulled away with a small smile. But all of a sudden his smile brightened.

"Oh! And I have a surprise!" He said excitedly. I became confused and he walked over to the thing he dropped lightly. He put it on the kitchen island and he stood back. "I'll let you do the opening." He said. I hesitated a second, but lightly opened a cage. I didn't expect something to jump out until a small fuzzball attacked me. I landed on the floor, to feel something slimy on my face. I laughed and opened my eyes, seeing a dog.

I held in my squeals and lifted the pup up. I stood up with him/her and lifted them in the air. They barked the most adorable small bark I'd ever heard of. I let a small squeal escape my lips and the pup looked at Calum. Calum chuckled and laid his head on my shoulder.

"It's our son, Kaya. His name is Duke." He told me. I laughed and put Duke down on the island. Calum smiled and sat on the island. I sat next to him. "See? Dogs are the joy of the world!" He said. I laughed and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you." I told him. He shrugged and laughed. He wrapped an arm around me, pulling me closer to him.

"Babygirl. I'd do anything for you." He said. I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder, as we began to play with the newly bought pup.
