Every squads have commanders, and those who command them are called Captains. Most Captains are previous soldiers who have fought countless battles and are the 1st generation Rose army, means they're soldiers who fought with the general and was promoted. Or someone with great skills and tactics can be a captain through the back door.
And every captains has caps that has a tiny patch that represent their squads. They also put their patch in their left chest. And anyone who disrespect it, is the same as disrespecting the Army, Rose.
