Chapter 42

Landon P.O.V

•One Month Later•

Ever since Mason cast that boundary spell, everything has been calm and drama-free. My wolf was more than ecstatic for the babies to born, I am too. It was a shock to me when Lilac told me were having twins.

So many doubts had ran through my mind when Lilac told me my child is actually my children. When she told me about the twins, it felt like I was going to be a father for the first time. But I wasn't.

My wolf immediately loved the news, it took me a minute to get past the shock, but I loved the news too. Of course my wolf would love the news immediately, wolves were very protective and very fond of their off-springs.

I was nervous though, Lilac was so close to her due date. Lilac would be giving birth in the next four weeks!

I haven't wanted her to move around a lot, So whenever it wasn't necessary to move around, I wanted her to sit down. I don't think she wanted to move around anyway, the weight of carrying two babies really has shown through.

Lilac was currently in the nursery, she has been spending a lot of time in there, just thinking about her upcoming motherhood.

I have tried as hard as I can to keep stress off Lilac's shoulders, the last thing I need is for Lilac to hurt herself and the baby because of stress.

Since Lilac's belly has grown so much, we haven't really had the "space" for sex. Sure, we might have did some complicated sex position just to make "space", but our sex life is officially on hold until Lilac has given birth and she is healed.

Hopefully, my wolf will be able to control his crazy sexual hunger for Lilac, but I'm pretty sure he knew the protocol. He wouldn't put his mate and pups in danger just for sex.

'I'm not that stupid to do that to our precious mate and children, Landon' My wolf growls at me. Yeah, he knew the rules about Lilac right now. If anything, he enforced them more than I did, not to mention that he didn't want us too far from Lilac, worried that her water would break.

"Landon!" Lilac yells. I turn my head to where her voice came from and stood up. I walked into the nursery to see Lilac looking at three bags on the ground, her hand resting on her ever-so-growing belly.

My wolf's virility was obvious, he loved the fact that Lilac's belly was full of our pups; his pups. My wolf wanted to flaunt the fact, he wanted to flaunt the fact to Lilac's true mate. Lilac being pregnant just brought a weird sense of pride over my wolf and I.

"Is this too many bags?" Lilac questions worriedly. I let out a laugh and walk towards her, Lilac smiles and leans on me when I get beside her. I look at the bags, wondering what's in them.

"Are these the bags for the pack doctor?" I ask with a laugh. Lilac laughs along and nods, she walks over to the rocking chair and sits down.

We had just finished setting-up and decorating the nursery, Lilac has spent more time in her than I have since we finished. Lilac still wanted to do few things, such as setting up the baby bag for the trip to the hospital.

Lilac was more prepared and excite than I have ever seen her in my life, she was nervous about being a mother in only four weeks, but she didn't show it half the time.

"I need to prepared, I'm giving birth to two children!" Lilac defended herself. I laugh but my laughing is cut short by my phone ringing. I sigh before pulling it out of my pocket and answering.

"Landon, I must talk with you and Lilac, do you mind heading over to the pack house?" Alpha James's voice asks. "Unless Lilac can't make the trip" Alpha James's said. I glance at Lilac, knowing she heard what Alpha James just said.
