" Hey Jesse!! " I hear Carl's excited voice from behind me. " Come here! I've got something fun we can do. " He says happily. He grabs my arm and leads me away from the group. Daryl grumbles something as he watches Carl take me away suspiciously.
" What? " I ask a little confused.
" Let's go see Randall! " Carl smiles.
" No. " I shake my head. " No no no no. We're gonna get in so much trouble! Your mama and your daddy and everyone else will be so mad!! We could get hurt or -"
" Not if no one sees us. We won't get hurt. Come on. " Carl says nodding towards the shed.
" But-"
" Live a little Jesse. Come on. It'll be fun and exciting! "
" Carl-"
" Please. " Carl says begging a little.
" Fine. " I sigh as I look at my hands. Daryl will kill us. Literally kill us. Wait, why am I worried about what Daryl will do? He's not talking to me and I'm not his responsibility. I'm no ones responsibility. I'm nobody's. We'll be fine. Yeah. We'll be fine.
