" You stay away from Carl. I don't want you dragging him into things like this. " Shane says in a dangerous voice as he looks me in the eye. " If I find you hanging out with Carl again, I'm gonna make you wish you had stayed away. You got that? " He asks.
I gulp and nod stiffly.
" Good. " Shane stands to his full height. " Now, let's go find Daryl. " He grabs me roughly and pulls me next to him as we walk towards Daryl's tent.
Daryl steps out of his tent. He curses as he looks at a broken arrow in his hands. At the sound of out footsteps, Daryl looks up. He raises an eyebrow and looks at me.
" She was fooling around inside the shed. She was talking to Randall. " He pushes me forward and I stumble a bit as try to get away from the man. I look up at Daryl to see him red in the face. In anger.
My heart pounds as I stand in between the two men. Shane turns to leave and I catch a glimpse of a smirk on his face. I watch his retreating back before I turn around, looking at Daryl.
