"GOOD morning," Wilson greeted smiling to Dana when she opened the gate of her dorm.
Dana smiled awkwardly as she open it wider. Wilson's smile faded when he saw she's not alone. "Good morning," bati rin niya pero sa ngiti palang niya ay may nakatago ng apology.
"Good morning, Wilson!"
"Good morning!" bati nina Yuki sakanya.
It took him a minute to process what's happening. He looked at Dana particularly and then said hi to her roommates back. Ngunit sa tono pa lang ni Wilson alam na ni Dana na napilitan lang ito.
"Ahh... Willson, roommates ko pala. Sina Yuki at Karina. Yuki, Karina, si Wilson, kaibigan ko."
Kumaway sila at nakipag-shake hands. "Hi!"
She saw him smiled back at them but Dana's sure that it's full of pretension. Pagkatapos nun ay nauna na siyang maglakad nang hindi hinihintay sila Dana.
Napabulong na lang tuloy siya sa sarili ng, "patay."
They walked with that distance but the two girls ran up to him to asked him questions. Mas lalong patay. Hindi nasabi ni Dana na mas ayaw ni Wilson ng ingay sa umaga.
Nang makarating sila sa SMU, naghiwa-hiwalay na sila nang hindi man lang maayos na nagpaalam si Wilson sakanya. Nagtatampo siya, 'yun ang malinaw na dahilan.
KAYA pagkatapos ng klase ni Dana ay agad siyang tumungo sa Student Council office para puntahan si Wilson dahil alam niyang dito ito pumupunta bago umuwi ng dorm. Sakto mag-isa si Wilson doon nang maabutan ni Dana habang nakaharap sa laptop niya.
She peeped in her head first and then knocked at the door. He looked at her and then said nothing so Dana stayed at the door.
"Busy ka?" tanong niya.
"Medyo."
"Pwede ako pumasok?"
He tapped the chair beside him so she took that as an approval. But Dana sat on the chair in front of him rather than the one he tapped.
Nang maupo siya sa harap nito ay napansin niyang napasilip si Wilson sakanya mula sa laptop.
"Sorry tungkol kaninang umaga," umpisa ni Dana.
"Ayos lang."
Ang tipid ng sagot niya. Ganito lang si Wilson kapag wala siya sa mood. He minimizes his words as much as possible—na parang nagtitipid siya ng laway.
"Nabadtrip ka ba?"
He shrugged still looking at his laptop.
Dana really felt guilty when he didn't even respond. When Wilson noticed that she stopped from talking, he peeped again from the laptop.
"I... I was planning to bring you to that place na nadiscover ko recently para bumili ng breakfast," he confessed. "Kaso may kasama ka."
