VanderVall Academy- Saturday 22nd December,2017-
Great Hall- 8.58am
Kathryn sits in the great hall in her grey tracksuit and her freshly washed hair thrown in a bun out of the way. Zackery is sat opposite of her as they wait for everyone else to turn up.
"Are you going to tell me what happened yesterday with you and Dallas? What was the hug about? I don't even think i've seen him ever hug someone" Zackery questions her leaning forward.
"Nothing happened, i told him i was sorry about lying about everything and that i felt guilty about it all" Kathryn half tells the truth
"Is there something going on between you two?" Zackery questions her and leans forward on the table.
"Me and Dallas have a complicated relationship, we help each other through tough times" kathryn explains it to him
"That's all?" Zackery asks her and raises his left eye brow part of himno believing it.
"You gonna tell Ella you love her" kathryn brings up changing the topic, his eyes widen
"Please don't" Zackery begs her and he leans back .
"I promise i won't say a thing" Kathryn promises him to which he nods his head thankful and drops the subject.
Kathryn and Zackery begin to eat their breakfast and Danny and Dallas walk into the hall and over to the table. Dallas sits beside Kathryn while Danny sits beside Zackery and pour themselves a glass of blood.
"Where's Alice?" Kathryn asks Danny confused at why she hasn't showed up to breakfast
"She wanted more time to get ready so grabbed blood and is back in her room. I think she said she was going to head to your room at around ten or eleven. I never can remember." Danny shares with her
"I could go for a gin and lemonade around about now" Kathryn says with a pout on her face
"Early drinking, i'm game" Zackery smirks liking the idea of it.
Kathryn sees Jesse the next bench and her throat becomes dry, all she wants to do is pounce at him and claw his eyes out."I'm just gonna go get some air" Kathryn says getting up off her seat
"Everything alright?" Danny asks her feeling concerned about her
"Everythings fine" Kathryn smiles and heads out of the great hall. She walks out of the front doors of the Academy and outside into the cold bitter air. She walks towards the gates and stands watching heads turn and look at her.
"Is there something we can help you with?" One of the hunters Bradley asks her from the gate as he holds a shotgun with iron pellets in it in his hand.
"Nope, just admiring the view" Kathryn answers him with her arms crossed as she attempts to keep the heat in her body.
"You should probably head back up to the school" Bradley advices her not liking that she is so close to the gate.
"Or what? You'll tell Justin. Big deal" Kathryn replies shrugging her shoulders not caring
" You must be one of the few people who aren't frightened or intimidated by him" Bradley tells her
"He doesn't scare me. Then again i am his daughter" Kathryn says keeping her eye on what's out there
"You must be Kathryn" Bradley mentions to her.
