I groaned, tracing my fingertip around the glass in front of me. My head just started pounding from the music blaring in my ears. I sighed, deciding to get up from my spot at the little bar in the middle of the crowded dance floor. An arm snaked around my waist, a hand resting on my hip. The person traced their fingertips along my hip, making me shudder slightly.

"Hello Dollface~" I glanced up seeing a man smirking down at me.

His eyes were tinted red and I couldn't tell if it was because of the lights in the club or not. Then the smell hit my nostrils. This man really did use some death sticks, didn't he?

"No." I said and tried to walk away. I felt him grab my wrist and pull me towards him.

"Come on, you can't just be looking like that and not expect anyone to come up to you."

Look like what? I wasn't wearing anything risque or revealing.

"What? Leave me alone." I said louder, hoping someone might notice.

My heart started pounding in my chest and I bit my cheek. He pulled me towards his body but I hit another man's back. He stood in between the man and I. The guy's hand tightened on my wrist, making me let out a small whimper.

"Is there a problem here?"

"Not until you came and interrupted us!"

The man standing in front of me wore a tan tunic. I blinked as I scanned his body, my eyes landing on the lightsaber hilt hooked, hidden by the tunic. He raised his hand towards the guy holding me and said something, but the music drowned it out. The grip on my wrist loosened and the left.

"I'm sorry men are like that." The man said, turning to look at me. I looked up at him.

He had brown hair that fell right below his shoulders and a well-kept beard. His eyes scanned my face like he was looking for something.

"Thank you so much."I said.

He smiled and bowed his head slightly. "Of course. Qui-Gon Jin and you are?"

"(Y/n) (L/n)."

"That's a beautiful name."

I giggled softly at his response. His eyes trailed behind me. He chuckled softly and then looked back at me. My eyebrow raised and I turned to look behind my shoulder.

"My padawan seems to have found someone too."
Qui-Gon said and pointed to a younger man who was talking to a girl who looked to be embarrassed as another girl called out towards her on the dance floor.

"Padawan?" I asked.

"Sorry, if the dreadful tunics weren't enough. I'm a Jedi master." Qui-Gon said and motioned towards the tan tunic he was wearing.

I laughed slightly at the remark.

"No, they weren't." I grabbed his hand. "But Mr. Jin, would you like to dance with me?" I asked.

He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "Why not." He said and walked with me towards the dance floor. "May I?" Qui-Gon asked softly.

I nodded and he let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around my waist. My arms snaked around his neck and I giggled. I had just met this man and now we're going to dance in a club? Weird I know, but it felt right.

Well, time does really fly, it had been a few months since that and now we're here. Qui-Gon in the same position of holding me, but now in a smaller room. It's quieter than the cantina, playing a small medley to sway together too. He hummed along softly. I just laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. We started dating a month after we met at the cantina. Qui-Gon insisted that we'd be together and said that he didn't believe in the Jedi saying no to any relationships and that the feeling he had was stronger than any old text could stop.

"I love you (Y/n)."
"I love you too."

He smiled and held me close to him. I looked up at him.

"What's wrong?" I asked softly, gliding my hand onto his cheek.

He sighed and held my wrist, holding my hand to his face. He closed his eyes, rubbing the back of my hand.

"I have a feeling something terrible is going to happen soon."

"We'll be okay my love." I said softly.

He opened his eyes, giving me a soft smile.
"I hope so." Qui-Gon said before giving me a small peck on the lips. I giggled softly.
