"What happened?!"
The door to the medbay slammed, rattling the whole ship. I held the small alien in my arms. It cooed up at me and grabbed a handful of my (h/c) hair. The Mandalorian just came back from a job. His chest plate was broken, sparks flew as he walked by me. Blood stained the undershirt he wore. His helmet didn't shine your reflection back as he walked by. I sighed heavily. It wasn't the first time that he had just pushed me aside after a mission, but recently he's been opening up to me. Especially with medical care. I pulled the small carriage we had for the child. The kid yawned softly as I put him down in the makeshift bed. I pulled the small cloth over it and rubbed its big ears slightly. It slowly closed its eyes and fell asleep. I sighed and slowly walked towards the medbay.
"Din?"
I called softly through the door. I waited a second and didn't get a reply. I inhaled deeply and slowly opened the door up. Still nothing, no shuffling or yelling at me to stay out.
"Din? Are you okay?"
I asked, leaning through the door. Bandages laid on the floor. I sighed softly, leaning down to pick up the room.
"I wish you would at least let me help you."
I said and looked up. The bandages I had in my hand fell to the floor. My mouth fell agape. Dyn was laying on the small bed, a bandage wrapped around his chest. His chest heaved up and down with every breath. But the most surprising thing was, he had his helmet off. Blood stained the back of his neck. Black hair curled around his head. I quickly ran over to him, grabbing his helmet. I lifted his head up. He was dead asleep. I stared at him for a little bit, taking in the image of him. From the front, his hair framed his face perfectly. I smiled softly before I started to move the helmet. I felt him start to move around before he slowly woke up. His eyes opened slowly. His dark brown eyes stared into my (e/c) ones. Din quickly sat up, grabbing his helmet from my hand.
"(Y/n)?!"
He yelled at me before looking at his helmet.
"I-I'm sorry"
His eyebrows furrowed and he looked back at me.
"I thought I told you about this! Don't come into a room if I don't tell you to!"
"I thought something happened, you didn't say anything to me and you were hurt really bad."
I whimpered out as Din quickly shot up. He grabbed his armor and started to walk out of the room.
"Din it was a mistake, I'm sorry."
"Don't follow me."
He said sternly. It left me speechless as he slammed the door again and stormed away.
